Speed Queen is the best if you want to pay $1000 for each. I just couldn't. It's not like I'm washing for an army. LOL -
Good Old Boys still at work?

As long as I have lived in this county I don't recall any opposition to a sitting judge. Yeah it's a good old boy system, but we're not the only one. It's the dirty truth of politics. -

You know Whirlpool makes Kenmore. And the days of a set lasting 15-20 years are over. Everything has a computer in it. -

I bought a new set and it was hard finding a top load with the wringer. I wanted Whirlpool but they didn't offer the softener dispenser unless I moved up to the Cabrio which had more than I wanted and cost a lot more. I settled on a Maytag that has a huge stainless drum with vibrations plus the wringer. It will let you unlock and add something if you need to. And it has the fabric softener dispenser. And I use the water sensor cycle that uses less water and gets the clothes really clean. Got it at Home Depot. Around $600 I think. -

If you're taking to me I have a Prime delivery date of August 2. I wouldn't have ordered if I couldn't get them next week. I don't want to be looking at the last minute. -

The totality of the eclipse is between 2-3 hours from beginning to end. It can cause serious retina damage if you look at it which is very tempting to do while it's occurring and the sun is partially covered. Amazon has glasses. I remember showing one to my kids with a pin hole in a box and we had the glasses. The maximum duration of totality for this eclipse will be 2 minutes and 40 seconds. And I'm taking my rugrat to Dillard, its right in the line. -

You can all it whatever you want. I'm not a snob except when it comes to the safety of me and mine. That's why I pay to live in a nice place. Even that doesn't guarantee you won't have drug dealers in your neighborhood. Buckhead has plenty. -

I hate to break it to you But Pat Mell and Jones Shaw road took a nose dive in the 70's. The 80's were even worse and there's no way I would shop for anything in that area. When I was growing up we went to Belmont Hills. Once I was grown I never went over there. It was a seedy place. It's a dump over there. Even though they've build nice condos and all that Smyrna is still Smyrna. My first apartment in 1968 was in Smyrna on Jones Shaw (now Windy Hill) behind the Post Office. It was a nice area. I worked at Lockheed and so did a lot of other folks. Then I moved up and moved to Hickory La -
