I finally got to see momma feed the babies. When they're being fed, you get to see them better. It looks like one of the babies eyes are starting to open. Yep, I'm hooked.

I'm glad to hear the update. I love all my four legged babies and am happy to hear your baby is on the mend. I bet she'll have a great time getting to swim next weekend. Do let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the link. I've been on the phone with my momma out in Oklahoma so I just got to look at it. I really do need to go and get some things done though. Housework just isn't as interesting as watching birds.

My first flight was when I was 14 to Karachi Pakistan. My step dad was working over there and couldn't come home for Christmas so the company he worked for flew me, my mom, and brother over. It felt like we were on the plane forever.

I sure was excited to see the baby when I got home from work. I swear, I was checking about every 15 minutes yesterday hoping to see the first egg hatch. Maybe I' get to see the next one.

I'm really paranoid when it comes to burning. I keep the water hose out and I saturate the ground about 20 feet all the way around it and I make sure it's out 2 or 3 hours before dark. Then, even though I know it's out, I keep going back out and spraying the ground and inside the can just in case there's one ember left in the half foot of water I have in the can at that point. Did I say I was paranoid?

I'm so happy to hear everyone made it home safe and sound.

When we got married, I added my husbands name to the deed but not the mortgage. I thought if anything ever happened to me and his name was on the deed and he kept making the payments, everything would be fine. I guess I need to find out how to add him to the mortgage.
