  1. I'm glad to hear your baby is home and doing well.
  2. I think it's great what you're doing!!! Who knows, you may get that thank you one day after he has kids of his own.
  3. Prayers sent. I hope she's doing well in recovery.
  4. It sounds good. I think I'll give it a try one day. A lot of people used to go to lunch at the hospital in the small town in Texas where I had my son. It was really good.
  5. You're right. I was jealous and I take back any rumors I may or may not have started.
  6. My prayers are with you. I know with all the helpful information everyone's given you your husband will be feeling better soon. I just want to add that it's truly a blessing to have a place like p.com to go to where there are so many caring people who take the time to offer their love, support, and encouragement when you need it.
  7. Does that mean that you didn't exist til last Friday?
  8. I should be asleep since I have to get up at 3:00, but I can't stop thinking about what happened. When did school quit being a safe place? I can't even begin to imagine what those parents felt when they were at home, work, or wherever they were and they heard on the news that twenty kids were stabbed and they realized it was the school where their child was or the horror these kids felt as it was happening around them or to them. This is supposed to be a happy time in their lives. My heart and prayers go out to all of them.
  9. I'm glad to hear that. So many people would have taken her to a shelter after the first time she bit someone. I admire the fact that you were able to continue to love her despite her faults and find a home for her with the type of environment she needed.
  10. That's great news. It's always exciting to see one of our kids taking that first big step towards the goals they've set for themselves. I wish her the best.
  11. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss
  12. Thank you for the information. Even though CC gave me a P. Com for Dummies class when I stopped by his office one day, I'm still a work in progress when it come figuring out how to do things on here.
  13. I've never tried frog legs and I prefer fruity rum drinks over beer unless I'm outside on a really hot day.
  14. I don't know how to add this to what I already posted, so if someone could tell me how to do it for future reference, I would appreciate it. I just wanted to add that I'm presenting myself as Aaron's grandma because that's what I like. I hope that's how his friends think of me as he grows up and I attend all the activities he chooses to be involved in.
  15. PM, I have to admit a lot of times you lose and confuse me on here, but I think I might understand this post a little bit. I'm trying to be me, but my way of communicating has always been by speaking to someone. Maybe I'm where you were ten years ago, still trying to figure out how to present myself on here. I've noticed the way I type isn't how I speak. Maybe, if I stick around long enough, the real me will come through.
  16. well, based on what I've just read, it doesn't sound like they're doing their job
  17. Just curious. What kind of things have happened at our local motels?
  18. I don't know if I picked these words up in Ok., Ga., Tn., or Texas, but I've had people from other states make fun of my use of fixin, reckin, and over yonder. I've always been a transplant, but I've been planted here since 2001, the longest I've ever lived in any one place.
  19. When I was stationed in Ca., those of us from the south wished there was a Waffle House near us. I totally understand Bil's request
  20. I found the link...Delta is to planes as Noah is to boats. I know, it's a stretch
