  1. LOL I was actually going to post yesterday about gaslighting but never got to it. I just might today to expound on yours about triangulation.
  2. Anytime! Although I'm not sure if I really got started on this topic my posts would be of lesser length.
  3. Added to my calendar as a must even for this weekend!
  4. I'll be too lazy by the time I'm done with my homework so I'll probably take the kids out to dinner tonight. Even I don't want the leftovers three days in a row. Now I have to decide where to go. Great, like my brain doesn't hurt already!
  5. One theory is because Christmas is in the winter. Another, commercializing.
  6. "Splitting" can also be applied to a narcissistic disorder, as both fall into Cluster B. Different criteria have to be met to distinguish one from the other, although it is possible that the two interlope. There is still much unknown about personality and behaviour disorders, which may result in differential diagnosis.
  7. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... *ducking just in case it does and snowballs start flying my way*
  8. What??? Now?!! It couldn't have waited another two days so I can see it? Sorry, got carried away a little, been a while since I've seen the snow.
  9. Sheesh, I can't get mine out of the shower or the tub, that hot water hogger! Up until now I thought boys were much easier than girls. I don't know what in the world was I thinking.
  10. I found with my 12 year old two showers a day, powder in those crevices that collect sweat, and washing his bedding twice a week is a regular routine now. It's those hormones. Some kids have the sweats, others have acne that are more bothersome side affects of puberty.
  11. You mean on each of those direct questions you asked in the other thread? I like polls too. Now that's two of us!
  12. Oh... Were you asking direct questions of "everyone"?
  13. I had the same problem trying to get in from an open search.
  14. That's why we like you Stradial, even when you bring up some nonsense about that silly thing called "common sense"
  15. Sometimes pain is more than bearable Maybe I'm too much of an idealist to think that fathers can have just as deep feelings and attachment to their children as mothers.
  16. Actually, there is a big difference between the jets in the air show and regular passenger airplanes. I hear planes going over my house several times a day and they don't make nearly as much of a noise as the once a year air show. We have a half a dozen schools within the 10 mile radius of the airport, closest is probably 2 miles. I haven't heard anything about those schools being impacted by the noise of regular air traffic, and my kids have gone to few of those schools. Grasping at straws is not going to help you convince the officials that having an airport is a bad idea.
  17. And some only want to see what they see. And then they want everyone else to believe only what they believe. And it doesn't matter how unreasonable or irrational their thinking is. You're preaching to the deaf who are leading the blind, Pubby.
  18. The only thing Sears can offer that is worth buying would be tools, toolboxes, lawn mowers, etc etc. Their clothing is the "old person" style and those old persons go to outlet stores now to get whatever Sears sends to them at the end of the season. I've never even shopped at JP, looked around plenty of times only to walk out because it was either too expensive or way to ugly even for my taste. I'm surprised they have lasted this long without changing and stepping in with the times.
  19. How familiar are you with the exact provisions of those positions, Whitey? Have you held any of those posts and know what is involved in day-to-day business? And the Chairman and the Attorney discuss the proper legal procedures to make sure when asked, or scrutinized again, over the legal way these things are done out of the hearing of Public and that is a crime??? I thought the attorney was appointed to make sure all of the legalities were followed and I don't believe those discussions are considered to be Public knowledge. So, both the Chairman and the Attorney are following the guideli
  20. Great! They are listening after all! By your angry face icon I can see that you're still not happy. Could it be that they are requiring an advanced notice so they can prepare better and to answer all of your questions and still figure out the time to concentrate on the other business matters depending on how many speakers there would be? And they have every right to ask to sign up before the agenda is up. It's called time management.
  21. Whitey, If I look at the statistics and the median family income for Paulding County, my guess would be an average person wouldn't be able to pay such high attorney fees, especially well aware that this is not going to be over in one day. Thanks for the welcome, although I'm not a newbie and usually lurk rather than post but I have lost my login to my other account and no access to the email I registered with. Pubby, So you are saying that the officials have addressed many of the issues in their meeting (reference to these posts being read, being aware of questions and concerns). I
  22. I was trying to make the same point about those who won't let go of the "secret dealings" questions. It's already done, people should get over that (oh am I going to get jumped over that sentence, I feel) and worry about where to go from here. And to your last sentence, it will be a flea ridden county and then the exterminator business will be hiring more people.
