I just loooved the PTSD thing. I didn't know whether to laugh or be insulted on the behalf of those who really suffer from it when I read that. It is not airports that cause the crime but the local government that allows seedy businesses to be built around them or any other parts of the town/county. If they allow liquor store, pawn shops, and sleazy motels by giving them the permit to build those in the area then you can definitely expect the area to go down. Being a citizen and seeing crime in Paulding for years has nothing to do with the airport or the crime that's being claimed is caused by the said businesses. It has nothing to do with me opening my eyes either and everything with showing the proof of empirical evidence. I live 10 mins from an airport in a tourist area. I will tell you that the crime is not around the airport at all but further away you go from it, nor is it caused by the commercial flights. It's not the first town I've lived in with a local small commercial airport being near it.
