If you were 66 years old lived alone and someone busted down your door, unannounced in the middle of the night what would you do ?

It seems a 66 year old woman was shot and killed by Bartow police officers yesterday. Acting with a "No Knock" warrant it was reported she produced a hand gun and the officers shot her in self defense. Which begs the question if an unidentified person broke down your door and you hand a weapon handy would you reach for it ? Frighting isn't it. I'm not passing any judgement on anyone just asking a question.
