This law may need to be changed but this is not the right bill to do it. This law will benefit attorneys and if someone can't afford an attorney the property will still be seized (or the property is involved and confiscated), the BOC will get the money to use it as they see fit, not the Sheriff's Dept. Does anyone actually think the BOC will give the money to the Sheriff?? This is why most LEOs are opposed to this law. It will cut their funding from that which is seized legally.

So, why don't you post a chart showing the population of those red states vs the blue states?? The population of Cook County Illinois, where Chicago lies is 5,217,080, the entire state of Georgia has 9,812,460. The entire state of Mississippi only has 2,967,297. That is roughly 1/2 of the population of Cook County. the City of Chicago has almost the same number of people as the entire state of Mississippi. So tell me again who has more people sucking off the government teat??? You still continue to believe the lies being spewed by the likes of Maddow, Stewart and Matt -

And down, down, down this goes into the Negative Nellie hole. I love it when people say they are tolerant but get all bent out of shape if you don't agree with them. I still think you should have asked for it to be closed.

Yes, I'd ask for it to be closed. JMHO

See the difference today is those people with all that money invested in American Companies, companies that made stuff. There's so little being Made In America today, those investments are going to the countries that make stuff. So tell me again why most of the industry in the US is gone??

I would like to suggest the management give a crash course on the proper use of there, their and they're. I know we don't need spelling/grammar Nazi's, but using an incorrect word in the title of a thread doesn't add to anyone's credibility.

CPR may or may not have saved her, it had nothing to do with DNR. The biggest issue with CPR is that once you start, you cannot stop until someone else is there to take over. We need to stop speculating and wait for the family to do what they feel is right. I certainly feel for the 911 operator but I'm guessing the family knew the rules and that may be why they are alright with how this was handled.

So I read an interesting article the Farmer's Almanac about sun spots and global warming. In fact, it appears the 11 year cycle ended in 2009 and as such the warming effects of those sun spots has been diminished dramatically. My link Look for cooler temps and another round of climate change info to hit the presses when those seeking $$$$$$$$ can't explain global cooling. My link

Having a conversation with you is impossible. There is no discussion with someone who insists they are always right and all you want to do is argue. That is not discussion, if you spent 1/2 a much time trying to get along with people as you do looking like an argumentative a**, maybe everyone could learn something. Heck even some of the leaders of this site have to take a hiatus because of the negativity spewed here. Yes, I'm participating, you suck people into your ugly world and make them as miserable are you are. Who are you and why do you think it's ok to treat people like this??

I just don't understand, I'm all for getting the most production with the least cost. But why is it a good thing to lay off 17,000 workers?? How will that help the economy?? I'm just saying that there are plenty of people screaming about the evil rich corporations not paying their fair share but it's OK for them to have record profits?? Do people not understand when a company pays an employee it generates funding for SS and Medicare? For every penny they contribute their employer matches it. Then there is the Workman's comp insurance and general liability insurance and the employee's

That's not what I was trying to say, I think you were the one confused. If you look, I was asking a question, punctuation matters. But have a great day.

I understood what it said, I really did. So you and they are declaring the mortgage kerfluffle diminished. Thus laying off 17,000 people, including 6,000 tellers is a good thing so they can increase their already growing profit margins?
-
Laying off 6000 tellers of the 17000 that were hired to handle the mortgage crisis isn't a contradiction? As I said before, I've never seen tellers handle mortgage stuff. OK, alrighty then. It also doesn't explain why, when profits are growing, it's necessary to lay off 17,000 people. I find that extremely disturbing, do you?

From your article...........duh!!

They just forget to tell you the Antarctic ice cap is growing, true story, see my link. And tell me again why Greenland is named Greenland?? My link

Temporary jobs are considered being employed. If profits are so high, why are they cutting these jobs............just a couple of months after the election?? Laying off 6.6% of your work force to increase profits is a good thing?? 6,000 tellers being let go, helps the economy, how?? I guess 17,000 more people looking for other work is a drop in the bucket in your world. The article contradicts itself stating these people were hired to work on the mortgage crisis, since when do tellers work on mortgages?? <snip>
