  1. Only that the other references listed, teacher, policemen, etc are paid professionals. And yes most coaches are volunteers.
  2. A scoutmaster is a volunteer, it is not a paid position.
  3. As a parent of an 11 year old boy scout, would you send your child on a 6 day trek in the wilderness with a scout leader that has declared his homosexuality?
  4. Many male child molesters of male youth don't self identify as be gay.
  5. From the article, just the first few comments. I guess pcom people have migrated over to the sites zc links.
  6. Here is the actual DOL report, forget the darn spin............it's in black and white. I think even those without degrees or the influence of spin journalism (cough, cough) can see things just aren't all that good. My link I love the comments at the end of this article. Funny most of those people are saying exactly the same thing as most on pcom are saying. Funny isn't it, unless those people are really pcom people.
  7. When you hit bottom there is no where to go but up, so yea the article ZC references might be correct, but absolutely no way does it mean the job market is good. We've got a long way to go for it to even suggest things are good. Looking up probably, but certainly many people are still hurting and still unemployed/underemployed. Improving does mean good, it merely means it's getting better than it was. Those "degreed economists" are pretty good at pulling data from sources that support their claims. Unfortunately you don't have to have a degree to pull numbers that make things appear t

So how can giving a $1000.00 to a for profit business be a charitable contribution?? I'm so confused, I think.
  9. Oh you mean the resource officer was doing his job. I think we need a few more of these heros in our schools.
  10. I don't understand a bit of this.
  11. Check the number of days in the billing period, it could be a couple more days than usual.
  12. I don't care what's by their name, the people have the power to change this. I have absolutely no control over it. Seriously there are more important things to worry about today instead of what Arizona is doing. I'm pretty sure it's not contagious.
  13. So I'm thinking Georgia has it's own mess to clean up, I'm just not gonna fret about something I have no control over. The people of Arizona elected them they have the power to remove them. That's how it is supposed to work, I'm pretty sure.
  14. In my experience, a lower extension is much easier if you are going to be doing a lot of typing, that part of the desk is designed to make typing easier. If on the other hand you don't do a lot of typing it works as a better work station. Also if you aren't 6 feet tall, the lower platform is much easier to set the computer on. You won't need a keyboard drawer. Having typed on typewriters for many years, this is why those extensions were designed to be lower. Most times you can purchase them either way.
  15. Hon makes awesome office furniture, I have a couple of their desks and credenzas, one with a hutch. desks They actually have a plant in Cedartown, not sure what they make there but it's almost local...........made in the USA.
  16. Just saying.......... My link My link My link
  17. Good morning Lady Raider, sun will be shining but it will be cold and windy. Yuk, but it is January.
  18. Really, people are going to live to be 150 to 200 years old?? And stem cell research can continue by private companies and without destroying embryos.
  19. Why yes it is, quite laughable.
