Woke up around 2am and heard the storm. Then rolled over and went back to sleep. -
I keep telling Papi, "wouldn't it be hilarious if at the reunion show Phillip was perfectly normal and this whole thing was just an act to get to the final 2??" And I like Rob. The season with him and Amber was so sweet! He was so smitten with her! But I'm on the Matt bandwagon too. I'd love to see him come back and win the whole thing!

I agree with you. Abuse takes many forms. Verbal, emotional, and mental can be WAY WORSE than physical abuse.

Controlling men are very difficult to leave. No one can understand the level of fear a woman in this situation has, until you have lived through such terror. Especially with young children still in the home. The thought of getting in your car and going for a drive and how far could you drive and how long would you be gone before you were missed, is often times fore front in the mind. But there are the children to think of........ Fear is a POWERFUL motivator. I don't excuse her, but I understand her.

She's 22. I've got a 21 yr old. At this age they think they know everything and us parents are STUPID!! Sounds like she may get her first lesson in "Mom and Dad might actually know something".

Hi-Ho's post just got me to thinking about it. Speaking of prophetic dreams, I was laying in bed one morning in that half asleep/half awake state and I felt like I fell through the bed and was surrounded by a very bright light. I heard a male booming voice say, "I am the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. I am neither black or white, nor male or female." Then I woke up. I tried so hard to go back to sleep and get back into that dream, but I couldn't. True story.

The only other time I've seen anything, I saw in the reflection of the fish tank I had at the time, a young boy, maybe 8-10 yrs old, dark hair, sitting in the recliner. One leg swung over the arm of the chair kind of slouched down. Scared the SHEEZE out of me because he looked back at me and smiled slightly. Like he KNEW that I could see him. Still gives me chills to think about it!
