It sorta looks like that, but the "moat" sits on the top of my feeder instead of the wire hanging below it. Maybe that's what is wrong?? The top of my feeder is rounded so the "moat" doesn't sit flat, it leans to one side. Maybe I need the wire hanging below it??

My ant moat isn't working. I made it just like y'all said, but I think the problem is my feeder has a little hump at the top so my moat doesn't sit flat, it kind of leans, and the ants are getting around it! We've had a little hummer just about every evening at our feeder! And yes, he guards it from any newbies trying to slip in on the action!
