22 years I worked for Kroger and loved it. I learned so much about service, loyalty, honesty and integrity They taught me to be a better person, manager, leader, teacher and sometimes confidant. You're so right! We live 2 miles from the 61/278 Kroger, but we make a menu for the week and make our list to that menu. And MOST of the time we don't buy anything that's not on that list. MOST of the time.

A well know celebrity chief that does a food network show currently and he lives in Marietta, was kicked out of Kroger for "sampling" cookies and not paying for the rest of the package.

I've read the book. It's very different from the movie. My favorite book as a kid was Where the Wild Things Are. I thought the movie was ok, but the book is so much better because you use your imagination.

Hiram folks could always drive down to the Brownsville Rd. Kroger or Ridge Rd. But I don't think their selection is as good as the Dallas store.
