You are THE FIRE MASTER!!! That was a great trip! Room was nice and we had so much fun! We visited 9 wineries in 3 days all around the North Georgia, Southern Tennessee and South Carolina area! IT WAS GREAT!

Good Morning! We have no water. The mens are up working on the pump house now. Apparently we had a electrical fire over night. Good thing the whole front field didn't go up! Hoping I can get a shower soon!

It was most definatley NOT vacant! Exterminator said there were probably 500-600 hornets in it. I almost wish we could have waited them out till winter and then we could have tried to save the nest. But it was too close to where we play in the lake with the dogs and I was askert of getting stung! There is an old wives tale that when hornets build nests near the ground a harsh winter is expected. This nest was about 4'-5' off the ground. Take it for what it's worth.

Northwest Exterminating. They had to send out wildlife removal because of the size of the nest. .

Good luck getting that when selling.

The exterminator dude is out there right now dealing with it. God bless him, he's a BRAVE man!! From here (my smart butt is in the house!) I can see it broke it apart into several pieces to get it down and bagged, so I don't know how good Papi's pictures are going to be. Papi is sitting down there inside his truck with the camera! Exterminator dude said this was the biggest nest he's ever seen!

Bald Faced hornets is what we are thinking. Like I said, so far, they have kept to themselves. But with any luck, by 5pm they will be moved out!

Bradford Pear, OVERGROWN, bradford pear. And the boys (my ducks) sit under and around that tree all the time! No problems! Heck! I was very near that tree just yesterday with the dogs! No problems! Maybe their really friendly hornets.

Nah.....you couldn't do the redecorating so we could sell the place. No shooting the neighbors! Or the dogs! For the record, I did resize the photos in photobucket, but for what ever reason they still translate large on here.

I'll try to get pics when they come out to remove it this afternoon. I can NOT believe we haven't seen it sooner, or Papi didn't wack his head on it while mowing grass! It's only about 4 feet off the ground! Looks quiet now, but we saw them on it last night. Papi said for me to go poke it with a stick to see if they home! NOT!!
