The only reason they are inducing me early is b/c of my blood pressure. It has always been very low/healthy until a few weeks ago. It stays too high even though I'm now taking meds for it. Otherwise, I dont think they would. I forgot about those after pains! Youre right though...I do remember them being pretty rough.

HAHA! I was just going to say that I think of Blondie everytime I eat sour cream now. I'm actually eating some now and thought of her and Papi when I STIRRED it up! No joke! I guess like with anything else, it is easier to focus on the bad or the fearful when really the good and joyous is just as possible. Wow! That is so great to read! It did help me to remember that a lot of my labor the first time was a real joy and none of it was the nightmare I had been dreading. I remember thinking that you literally HURT ALL OVER but it was not unbearable at all. Even my eyebrows were sore the next day, no kidding ! A couple weeks ago we both wanted a good steak. We got to our favorite place for one and it was packed wth a 40 min wait. I couldnt see myself doing that at this point so I asked it we could sit at the bar. It was so funny the looks I got ponying up to a full bar big and OBVIOUSLY pregnant. I didnt think twice about it til I started noticing the looks. Of course, its not like I drank but beer sure did look good...especially to go along with my filet and lobster tail.

beautiful! REALLY beautiful. My azaleas bloomed a few weeks ago and were really pretty. Lasted longer than they do most years. I'm still learning being down here in South Ga but I just planted an herb garden(a MUST for me) and a few hanging baskets with a mix of perinnials and annuals. I bought 3 fairly large viney-sort of things that have lots of tiny white blooms that I was told are native to this area. I can remember m yMother saying when each of us left, she cried every time she thought of it for days. Then, after a little time went by and she got busy and back to life, she actually found the good in it...the house stayed cleaner, she could do the fun things she couldnt do before, etc. She was the MOST self sacrificing and giving Mother and we were her world. But, she did find HER place in life without us under her roof and really enjoyed her life with Dad and whatever she wanted to do. You will too.

Isnt that so true?! You are right about how many women have done this and most of them want to do it again...and again. I was wondering what their approach will be with sticking me in bed this time. I'm glad you said that. Also, with my back/spine problem, laying down too long is horrible for me. I know Ill have to more than usual so every chance to walk, Ill be taking. Yep....and stretch marks. I've gotten this far in life without any and have used a ridiculous amount of belly butter, vitamin E and anything collagen every single day hoping to avoid them a little longer.

I've always heard that about petocin. Good thing is I've been having a LOT of contractions and if it goes anything like the first time, when my water breaks(or they break it for me), labor will start without petocin. My Dr seems to think theres a good chance of being able to skip it. I hope so. I believe in the breathing, too! I know it makes all the difference. I think I just know too much this time as far as all the bad things that can happen. That's what I did the first time. I agree and really dont want to be there any longer than I have to be. Pretty hard contractions have kept me awake 2 nights now but they werent timed right so I knew better than to go to the hospital only to be kept afew hours and sent back home. I did it all natural(no drugs)before and it was not the nightmare I feared at all. But, I was only 20 and had a perfectly easy pregnancy. Now, I'm NOT 20(39, to be exact)and have had about every problem with this pregnancy that you can have. My dr. is not letting me go past 37 weeks which is this Sunday so I'll be induced. That is great news for my mind and my body which are both so tired and over being pregnant.
