I went to Radio shack and bought a Antenna and spent about 200.00 dollars on everything I needed to ditch cable. It picked up some stations but not many. I am on Dallas Nebo and I have alot of trees so I ended up keeping my basic cable and now I have a antenna that does me no good. I recieved 2 boxes for free and yes, they have went up on my bill to 32.00.

my hubby's aunt used to make soap in Macon but she did the hot process. He said her soap was ugly. LOL. I also imagine back then she probably recycled her fats and used them. That just sounds nasty.That is probably why it was ugly too.She used the big black iron pot.

Riograce, it is hard to go back to commercial soaps once you have used this. I washed my hands with a small piece this morning and it felt like I had just applied lotion. my hands feel great. Yes, I bet soapmom is very busy making soap. It is a lost art that we all need to learn but again it is not a rushed art. It has steps that must be followed and we tend to want it now. LOL

It is hard to explain because of the process, I did alot of research online before trying, there will be some botched batches from time to time but you just have to learn trial and error.It cannot be rushed neither, that is what I had the hardest time doing, my container was wrapped in blankets and towels to keep the heat in (that is important) and then I went outside this morning to my storage building where I make it, I uncovered it and the container was still warm even though it was cold outside.It has to be cut before it hardens. After our family had Thanksgiving supper, us girls went outside and started making real soap, it was the first time I had ever made it. I was hesitant to do it at first because of the Lye being so dangerous but my DIL has been making it for years now so I have been gathering my ingredients and supplies for weeks and had everything I needed to make it and we went outside Thanksgiving evening and got started. no, the dad is being paid cash through his employer instead of a check, but we believe the dad has either filed for Title II disability or planning on filing for it later, with her signing the waiver that means if the father does start recieving it that he could draw a check(example) $1,000.00 per month per child and only pays (example) $300.00 a month per child child support. my mother is buried in Powder springs, it has been 9 years, I hate to say it but I do not spend alot of money on arrangements to put on her grave. I have only to go back and find it gone.
