I really want to read the outcome on this one. -
Sad. There is a local gas station with a sign that reads: EBT Acceepted. When I pointed out the error I was told it was spelled correctly.

I know a family that gets $600 a month and dad is in the home working full time. She lied and said he left them..........nobody ever checked. To top it off they have gotten over $6,000 in tax refund the past 2 years and since it goes to dad nobody ever did anything. Another family in a similar situation AND goes to 6 Flags and Disney several times a year. PLUS owns a time share. BUT then I know people who really qualify and need the help that can't get it because of all the red tape. ENFURIATES me. -

Now lets be nice. I am SURE that one day the airport will be put to good use. Right after the tunnels are finished probably. -
There is a lady on here that does estate sales. She would be a great place to start but I do not remember her name.

I understand what you are saying. It seems we often overlook those closer to us in need.

Maybe we can get a pcom petition or picket going and get some attention.

Valid points Freebird. I understand what is being said. In our case an extra inhaler would have cost me $200 which I did not have. (before someone states the obvious that I am paying for internet, it is included in my rent). To begin with I could not afford an extra inhaler and at one time left work to take one to the school. Then eventually I was able to be blessed enough to have 2. One stays at school and one in my purse. My point is that I believe a child should be able to transport an inhaler to and from school for cases like this. With that being said, I completely agree that the p

They didn't pay me enough for this.

I understand what you are saying and am not going to argue. But there could be a reason: 1) the child has never had need for an inhaler 2) she only has one inhaler (because insurance only pays for one). I have had this situation before and it is hard. You see, as I said insurance only pays for 1 inhaler and according to school rules the inhaler must remain in the original package and stay at the school. My son rode the bus and was not allowed to take his inhaler from the school. What are you to do?

So what is the soup they serve at Taki? I thought it was Miso but when I go to other Japanese rest. and order Miso it tastes and looks nothing like it. The one at Taki actually reminds me of french onion soup.

You had to ask. It is a very sinful dessert that should be against the law.

Thanks for the replies. I like them both equally so I guess I will alternate. @Lacey, I normally do not cook it myself but am about to start. I think it will be good cutting up citrus and putting on top and baking it. Tonight I had the talapia from Ruby Tuesday so that got me thinking about this. They had a mango salsa cooked on top and it was awesome.

Which is healthier. Grilled Salmon or grilled tilapia?

If I had younger kids I would skip the big hunts too. However, several years ago I took my then 11 year old to an AWESOME hunt at Mt. Tabor. It was a combination egg hunt/scavenger hunt done at night with flashlights. That was great.
