I'm just outside the Paulding line now, in the far northwest corner of Douglas County, 1/4 mile from the Carroll County line. I have my own little slice of heaven: 4 bed, 3 1/2 bath on 10 acres. My horses are in my pasture, no longer boarded out. I hear Barred and Great Horned Owls most mornings. Have seen deer and fox already. Lord willing, this is the house I'll die in....many years from now.

My house is in South Dallas, off 61. I put it on the market Tuesday and had a contract on it Saturday. My area is HOT and prices have come up. I'm not making a lot on the sale, but enough.

Most of the posts are from this poster and I have no desire to see a single one. --So many threads derail back to the old "tunnels" and "Fred's" nonsense. Really? Unless somethings changed, the "current owners" of the old Route 61 BBQ were nothing to write home about. My late husband and I used to eat at 61 BBQ at least once, if not twice, a week under it's previous owner/manager/cook. Tried it ONCE after they departed and were horribly disappointed.... ribs tough, food cold, salad swimming in water, service awful. So if it's moving, no great loss to me.
