  2. What would make you think that it was stolen off the porch?
  3. Google "coin dealers in Georgia" and you'll see listings and reviews. Warning: Most coins these days have little or no value. In an age of eBay and other online websites, rare is not always so rare anymore. Plus, demand is not what it used to be. This article may help: http://www.numismaster.com/ta/inside_numis.jsp?page=how-much-coin-worth
  4. Actually, gas prices are now about the same as they were in 2005, just before Katrina. They shot up at that point. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/08/14/gas.prices/
  5. There are a million websites that will do this for a small fee, usually $20-25, and it takes two minutes.
  6. What is the severance pay issue? Normally, a company is under no legal obligation to provide severance pay when it lets someone go. Many do, but they are not obligated to do so, unless the employee has a contract that provides this as a term of employment. A greater question may regard his disability status.
  7. The number of days in the billing cycle is a factor. Any evaluation of a bill must involve having this information. Sometimes the bill may be for 25 days, while the next is for 37 days.
  8. What was the event at East Paulding High on Monday evening? Traffic on East Paulding Drive traffic was every heavy due to incoming traffic around 5:30PM, and exiting traffic around 9:00PM. Police were directing traffic for part of that time. Thanks.
  9. She had a great career as a dramatic actress, as well as her comedy roles.
  10. Agreed, Mr. Wills is a true pillar of this community. Just for accuracy, the new hospital opened last year, on the first of April, 2014. No fooling.
  11. We have lamb, too. A leg of lamb is indeed costly, but it's an important part of Easter to us.
  12. Plastic bags can be recycled at Publix, Kroger, Target and WalMart.
  13. In past years there was always a set of recycle bins outside fire station one on Thomas Murphy Drive, 1/2 a block from 278/61. Are they no longer there?

    Snow!

Easter break days are not designated for make-up, so they are safe either way.
  15. Yes, It has been down for days. I would guess that maintenance was being done, with school out this past week.
  16. I will go out on a limb here and predict that Paulding will be proactive and close schools all week, like they did last year.
  17. It is Atami. (I don't think that a Japanese restaurant would call itself Okinawa, given how many Americans lost their lives in that epic battle.
  18. Or you could take the train. http://www.amtrak.com/coast-starlight-train
  19. There is a significant difference between the musings of daily life, in which we all may be implicated, and the professional duties of a credentialed news reporter. This is especially true for one so squarely in the public eye. There is public trust, and an ethical obligation to live up to that trust by reporting truthfully at all times. Sorry, but a journalist is held to a higher standard that what someone said to his girlfriend years ago. Walter Cronkite would have agreed.
  20. Hmmmm, not many 8th grade boys could fit into a 6th grader's clothes. And most would not want to, either.
  21. I'm not sure why you are assuming that another child walked off with them, or that they were left in a classroom. It is far more likely that the items are sitting in a lost and found bin, or a pile somewhere. They could have been left in the cafeteria or many other places around the school. Staff generally does not have time to go through items and look for names, and most schools have tons of unclaimed articles that sit around and eventually are donated or discarded.
