  1. I could not agree more . If in doubt DO NOT do it. I waited until I was 32 to have my first...it was something I had contemplated for many years beforehand. I don't regret it, obviously...at almost 45 I am still being tattooed. But I know quite a few people who have had work done and regretted it later. If you decide to go with it, make sure you pick an image that is important to you. Not trendy, not spur of the moment, not done just because you want ink. All of my work has specific meaning. This is going to be a permanent part of your anatomy, and my advice is that you don't take th
  2. Good for her, one less predatory piece of crap on this planet!
  3. Lol, he owes ALL of us for tolerating him . I love the boy , but he really is the devil, lol.
  4. Did you ask Aaron the Debil? He might be able to help as well .
  5. Breathe, it gets better. I promise . The fact that you are not tolerating it is key, and that you guys monitered and took care of the FB issue. More power to you. It will get better, you are just hitting some bumps in the road right now, and he is pushing his boundaries to see if they will give. Don't give. With my hubby and son we called it the "rooster syndrome". He just has to figure out there is only one rooster in your house and it isn't going to be him . Firm and loving, but continue to be FIRM. Sending you good mama mojo .
  6. True that! I'm right off Brownsville, and grew up on Old Lost Mtn Rd. so Paulding is 5 minutes from me. It's all relative .
  7. I'm a Powder Springs girl . I graduated from McEachern in '84 and aside from a brief hiatus in Germany have lived here since the mid 70's. The rest of my family did migrate to Paulding/Dallas area.
  8. Sounds like my husband telling me 'not to go overboard' with the tattoos. When I told Richie (my artist) that, he said "Ummm, haven't we already passed that point" . I think as long as I don't tat my face it's all good, lol. For the record, Ray won't let me go back to blonde either . I am a natural red, but I was a blonde when we met...he won't let me do anything but keep it red now, so I understand. You give a little where you have to .
  9. Awwwwwwwwwwwww, sweetness .
  10. Awww, now I am sad . I hadn't been on too much in the last couple of days ( I have 2 books I need to finish for review by the weekend) so I didn't notice yet. I'm glad you told me though, I would have worried that I had pissed someone off . Are you just taking a hiatus?
  11. I KNOW you aren't going to post Britaini's partial 'girl from Nantucket' here that she just posted to FB . I almost choked when I read it, lol .
  12. You have to make sure and post pics!!!
  13. Hahahahahahaha . I love you so much .
  14. That was awesome, thank you for the belly laugh! I'm a Chi mama too and I could just picture it so well in my head. I'm glad you survived to tell the tale .
  15. I still have skin . I think we would get along fine, you could wear your holiday sweaters, and I could show my ink, lol. (Joking) But we would get along just fine...most of my friends think I am a mutant too .
  16. Ummm, yeah. I was gonna say you are just disagreeing because I can be in a conversation with you face to face and suddenly you drift off . Either I am just REALLY boring or you are easily distracted, lol.
  17. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!
  18. AWESOME! You need to come in and show them off . Provided they are somewhere you can reveal in public .
  19. I'm glad. I just saw this on a patch.com update on my FB page. They said it was a Powder Springs man. WTH is WRONG with people ???? Sick, evil bastard.
  20. Exactly! It's your skin and you are the one wearing it...do what you want with it . I love the question we often hear of 'What happens when you are really old and tattooed". I just say that my old, saggy wrinkled skin will be a hell of a lot more interesting (and colorful). I'm 'casper' complected already so anything helps, lol.
  21. On the tattoo question...I am heavily tattooed. Almost fully sleeved on my right arm, the inside of my left arm is completely covered. Some on both of my legs. I have worked jobs where visible tattoos were an issue. Long sleeves cover them just fine. I don't plan on getting tattooed anywhere I cannot cover them, but I do plan on being fully sleeved (as in inked) on both arms. My ink is personal, it's mine. I really couldn't give a rip what anyone else thinks about it, but at the same time I do not have an issue covering it up because it is mine, and it is personal . I know it's there c
