  2. I did not realize Rodney's served lunch specials that late????? Rodney, How did the "pay what you think it's worth" day go??
  3. A Japanese Steakhouse is POPULAR??????  SORRY I just could not resist. Carry on.
  4. DITTO!!! Being anonymous gives you freedom to express yourself without having to take what ppl say personally or having dagars of personal attacks bestowed on you. People have been trying to figure out who I am since the day I joined. As far as a broken heart the best advice I can give is to be THANKFUL for unanswered prayers! IF he was lying to you then you are better off without him. Then throw in the cheating on you and you need to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. One day you'll look back at this experience and know what you learned from it and how great it was to m
  5. Are you still going out of business?? If you are still closing have you marked down the existing merchandise from your regular prices? I was surprised to see you are getting in more merchandise, Hope you are staying!
  6. That is true for a lot of folks. BUT............ With that being said........WHY don't the illegal immigrants do what is necessary to become LEGAL residents of America?? They could continue to work for the same employers without fear of being sent back to Mexico. Maybe I am missing something here but that seems like a win/win for the immigrants and the farmers.
  7. WOW! I would never have thought that. I would have guessed he was 68-72. That is some HARD living!
  8. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DARN. Was this on your outside marquee? If so I didn't see it nor did I read it on one one of the dry erase boards inside. We were there Friday night with friends and enjoyed our meal, BUT! I would have loved some good gulf shrimp with my ribeye IF I had known it was available. Our waitress did ask if we wanted the French Onion Soup (which I had seen on the dry erase board). We all had the soup and it was VERY good. However, a bit PRICY for the small size of cup it came in. I enjoy a good cup of French Onion and always order it when available. I don't like to go to the "cha
  9. I hope you are not pointing out the integrity of ALABAMA because you are SHOCKED!?!?!? I am NOT Shocked at the ranking whatsoever.
  10. BUT.....THAT would take away all the fun and the DRAMA!
  11. Can someone explain to me WHY Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in the United States of America??? It is the anniversary of the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. It has NOTHING to do with our GREAT Country. Is is just a legitimate excuse to get DRUNK????? GEEEZZZZZZ.
  12. The something other in the photo was probably Venus. It could be seen very clearly last night as well.
  13. I am not familiar with this place either but LOVE a good auction. When do they have auctions? Do they have a website? I get emails from an auction in Jackson and it gives a heads up on what is being auctioned (with photos a lot of the time) and who the vendors are that will be there on a certain night. They look like a great place to go but unfortunately it is a bit far to go. I would love to check out the Blue Chicken. Thanks for any info.
  14. I obviously am missing something here: Buccaneers????? BTW, hope you got some good corn. I was wanting to buy some Wed when I was at Kroger - 3/$1.00 sounded like a great price. UNTIL I saw all the bugs crawling under the shucks. YUK!!!! Needless to say I didn't buy any fresh corn.
  15. What you are saying is true, Subby - as a general rule. But like ALL rules, there ARE exceptions. I purchased a USED mower at a yard sale for $30. (okay, it wasn't $25, but?) and the ONLY thing it required to run for the next five years was oil and gas. Nothing more than what a new mower would require. I definitely got my $30 and MORE out of it. The second mower I purchased at a yard sale was also about $30 and this will be the 3rd season I will use it. Again, NO issues other than routine maintance. Sometimes you actually DO get what you pay for. $10 or less per year for a mower is my kinfa de
  16. What IS the price? And what size is the prime rib (as in ounces)? 5:00? WOW - I would be starving by bedtime if I ate that early. Enjoy your meal, LPPT.
  17. Never too old to learn something new every day. Guess the folks who "NEED" to see the thread won't see it now. I never even think go to into PP. Thanks for the explaination, tho.
  18. to Paulding Place?? I didn't mention names or call anyone out. It was meant to be "helpful" in giving a recommendation that when a thread has a DATE on it to not continue posting in it past that date. Didn't mean to step on any toes. OOPS!?!?!?
  19. YUMMMMMMM >>>>>>GREAT WINGS AT A GREAT PRICE!
  20. Does it have to be specifically crafts or homemade stuff???
  21. Can not wait to check everything out. ROLL TIDE ROLLLLLLLL
  22. THANK YOU to everyone who recommended Tina Drummond. My friends went to see her and were very impressed - plus she was a LOT of help and relieved their fears. FYI: the IRS is only really concerned with the past 3 yrs and you can only recover refunds owed to you for the past 3 yrs. They will begin the process to get everything taken care of. Thanks again.
  23. Thank You for the recommendation. Is she here in Paulding?
  24. CONGRATULATIONS on being so close to the end of the road and I appreciate you sharing your experience. I will forward this information along to them. For most, if not ALL, the years they did not file they were OWED money by the IRS! At least a couple of the years they were owed in the $1,000's. But, they were afraid to file thinking it would trigger their past failures to file. Maybe with the money they were actually owed it will offset the penatlies and fees that have accumulated over the past 20 yrs. They were afraid of going to jail or other repercussions of the IRS. Thank you again. The IR
