I heard from a family member that it was a head on collision.

GeorgiaGirlyGirl's information is correct. It's incredibly tragic that her dad passed away a few months ago, as well. My heart goes out to Kayla's sister.

This is devastating. I went to school with him. Is it appropriate to asked what happened? if not, just ignore me. -
Kids are at NPHS, too. I'm not sure how many.

Lots of kids from North Paulding walked from campus up through Cedarcrest.

Patch Contest $100,000 for Paulding Schools

Still going strong! Keep voting. -
We arrived before kick off, but because it takes a some time to unload equipment and get everyone settled, we did not settle in the stands till a few minutes after kick off. Everything was swell. And, as far as I know, the football team did not charter buses. There were several Paulding County buses already there, that I assume the football team rode. I definitely saw no charter buses in the parking lot.

Didn't Dr. Denmark retire in mid 2001? Dunno why you would still take your children to a doctor that died recently... Anyways. Let's not steal the thunder from Gengou and Bordet... They developed the first whooping cough vaccine in 1912; Denmark's findings led to the modern DPT vaccine.

What if they are 18 or older? We don't know the ages of the friends she supposedly went to Florida with.

Have you called the police?

I know they do scoliosis tests in middle school in Paulding County. They used to do hearing and vision tests in elementary school, but I have no idea if they still do those, though.

Felix Lights Finalist! Deck the House Contest

Man... this would be great to win. Math books would be nice. Voted again. -
I think something they could do is make physical education more appealing for kids. It can be so mortifying for them, and just puts them off from exercising. It gets to the point that because of the embarrassment happening so often, they attribute all exercise to be awful and will never want to do it again. I've met plenty of kids who hate PE so much, and for years onward they just can't get over the feelings from middle high school physical education.

I'm a fan of the Imperial Palace in Hiram. It's great, and the prices are inexpensive.

It is really unfortunate that the 2nd place winner doesn't get anything. -

In the past, NPHS has had computer stations set up in the lunch room so students could vote on similar causes (anything getting the school district money). -
I was thinking the same thing. What if the OP is from out of state and Trick-or-Treating is done on weekends typically? I don't see a reason to flame the OP for a simple question. :|

The accident involved 4 vehicles: 3 cars and one school bus. From my understanding, car A nudged car B (which lost control) and hit car C. Car C hit the school bus on the side. Everyone on the school bus was okay. One girl hit her head on the window but by the end of the day she was well enough to perform in the competition. Many "high profile" people came to the scene accident, including the superintendent, and an assistant principal from North. I thank God for protecting our students and giving the bus driver strength to stop the bus. It could have been much, much worse. I think this acciden

I remember reading in Fast Food Nation that after hatching they lived 6 weeks. So from egg to death it would be the length of time between being laid and hatching + 6 weeks.

Hmm, the weather is pretty nasty out there. Do any of yall think it will be bad enough for PCSD to close schools?
-
http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/subindex/weather/closings According to that schools will be delayed by two hours.

P90X was part of the PE program (and I think it still is). I wouldn't recommend it unless you actually enjoy physical activity. I definitely turned me off from exercise and I haven't done any exercise outside of marching band since. I know know about the food portion of it though. I still shudder at the thought of the crap they made us do.
