  1. I don't think most people understand the types of things they do use the mail for without thinking about it. Like i said, Netflix is HUGE, and is completely reliant on the USPS standard First Class Mail being a 1-3 day system. That is no longer the case. Many people that get magazines weekly will now be getting information not just a couple of days late but almost a week late. This is a huge step back for REGULAR mail. This isn't effecting Priority mail or shipping a package, this is for paychecks, refund checks, expense checks, paying bills and the like for people that either do not or c
  2. They are still going to offer next day options for money. But the standard first class mail will be more of a snail mail. Things like Netflix, newspapers, magazines and such will no longer be a quick process. To where now people have a two day turnaround on netflix, they will now pay the same price and have a minimum 4 day turnaround. Getting rid of Saturday mail i can understand MAYBE, but the problem isnt the cost or services. The problem is that they pay the workers retirement that is available after very few years and give full benefits for the rest of their life. Show me one success
  3. USPS just announced they will no longer be offering next day delivery. Even a letter going to your neighbor will take 2 days. On top of that they are going to charge more postage than they do now getting it there in 1 day. http://money.cnn.com/2011/12/02/news/economy/postal_service_next_day/index.htm
  4. Sound bars are good if you have a smaller room like a bedroom or a very small den. I wouldnt recommend anything less than about $100 on a soundbar though, you will get what you pay for. I know Vizio has a good one with a wireless subwoofer around 200. For a bigger room like a living room or projector I would look for one of the Home Theater in a Box setups. Walmart sells them for about 199+. Sony, Pioneer, Onkyo, and Denon are the big names, the rest will be much more subpar. Make sure you get one that has the 5 speakers plus a subwoofer or more. If it is only 2 speakers and a subwoofer
  5. Define Home Theater System. Are you wanting a speaker system to go with a TV, or are you needing an entire Home Theater setup including Television and the like? If you are just needing the speaker system, do you need the receiver as well? Price Range would also be needed. You can get a decent one that makes a great sound for 200-300, but you will need about 500 or so to get a great sound.
  6. We do not trust any of the Wellstar. We have had horrible results at Paulding, Kennestone and Cobb. We go to Saint Josephs now if we ever have to go to any ER.
  7. No, that is the Felix's. This is in the large subdivision across from the Ace Hardware in New Hope. I haven't seen it, but that is where they are saying it is. We are going to go check it out tomorrow or tuesday.
  8. The Courts just recently ruled that it is legal to videotape police according to the first amendment. http://www.dailytech.com/First%2BCircuit%2BCourt%2Bof%2BAppeals%2BRules%2Bthat%2BCitizens%2BCan%2BVideotape%2BPolice/article22587.htm
  9. Get some of the Barefoot Sweet Red wine, mix in some 7up and cut up fruit. Put it on ice and serve, or freeze it for a day and then serve.
  10. I hate having to wait, but it is much better than waiting a year like for HBO shows like Game of Thrones. Yes the last 4 or 5 episodes are available On Demand with Comcast. The first season is available on Netflix.
  11. I have a very country accent, and it works great as long as i don't talk super fast. If i speak at a normal pace it catches me about 98% of the time.
  12. I would always recommend Dragon. It is what Apple uses to run Siri on the new iPhones and it is by far the oldest and most reliable on the market in my honest opinion.
  13. When I was in college, Aldo was where I shopped all the time. They are super super cheap for many of the same store brands I buy elsewhere. But some of the food wasn't quite as good, most of it was great though.
  14. That could well be, I just thought I read that it was going in Dallas, but this location does make sense.
  15. Ok, I just saw a very large building going up in Hiram down past the hooters in the large clearing area. Anyone know what it's going to be? It's before you get to the new racetrack going towards powder springs on the right. It looks pretty large and it's only the frame so far.

  17. While it would be the two best teams, it would be a HORRIBLE National Championship game. That was the most boring game I've seen this year.
  18. Radioshack, Brandsmart, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy/BestBuy.com Amazon will be cheapest, but the shipping may offset the price advantage.
  19. They may be specific, but 95% of the people i know with a Computer refer to anything that causes their computer to do anything other than what they want it to a "Virus". I know the difference, but most computer users may have never even heard the word malware, or have heard the word Trojan but have no idea what it is.
  20. What size range and price range are you looking for in general?
  21. Look at it this way, 100 dollars up front is a lot cheaper than 100 a month.
  22. I beg to differ, I used the term Virus because to most normal users that is what all Malware and trojans are. All major security systems agree that Android has a major issue with security threats. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Virus-Malware-Android-Apps-Malicious,news-13225.html http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/mcafee-malware-surging-on-mobile-platforms-especially-android/55537?tag=content;siu-container
  23. By everything i mean 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 36, 46, 69 and all of the subsets. By amplified it just means that it is plugged into a power source to increase the amount of signal it is pulling in. Most regular non amplified antennas are only plugged into the television using the Coaxial cable, amplified are also plugged into the AC outlet in the wall.
  24. I have used all sorts of indoor antennas here in Paulding and it all comes down to this: Indoor antennas really do not work this far from Atlanta. It takes a powered medium outdoor antenna to pick up all channels consistently out here. I was only able to get NBC 11.1 with all 3 of the indoor antennas i tried. Outdoor or attic mounted amplified antennas picked up EVERYTHING.
  25. If you are getting an Android Tablet of any sort than you will need to be cautious about Virus's. A new report just released showed that Viru's are up 500% just since July on Android Tablets, but if you are using a closed tablet system like Kindle Fire or any Apple device then you do not need to worry about them. As for Routers, I have only ever used Airport Extreme routers and they work Super Easy and last for years. I only ever upgraded for new technology features, they are still all kicking strong. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for when it comes to routers.
