  1. I have been saying this for years.
  2. My thread about the senator and Sunday sales doesn't have any fighting yet.
  3. Pubby, I will be sure to repost this when he is up for election again. Here, on Facebook and anywhere else. I will also be sending him a copy of this thread so he understands his constituents thoughts.
  4. If this were the case then he would vote to let his two districts vote. He could have Bremen vote to not have Sunday sales, and Paulding could vote for it. But instead he denies us that right.
  5. Don't forget the part that they all ran on the platform of transparency and less government control, yet they are hiding completely how they are voting, and are suppressing a bill that would lessen government Control and create millions in tax revenue.
  6. I always recommend Chrome first, safari second, and then Firefox. Chrome is fast, but don't like big brother google either. Safari is great, and will be better on the upcoming release, but not as fast as chrome. Firefox is good, not as fast, but is easily slowed down like IE with all of the toolbars and add ons.
  7. I think it absolutely will. The funny thing is that they do not realize the extra jobs it would create and money it would pump into the economy. Distributors currently do not have to deliver or work on weekends, but with additional grocery sales on Sunday they wil, have to hire merchandisers to work weekends, potentially deliver weekends as well. Not to mention the tax dollars we would get from people who buy black market on sundays, and from stores across the border in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Carolina. I plan to send him a link of all of this as soon as eno
  8. I'm not willing to pay the extra for their so called 4G. Their LTE is twice as much as my 3G on AT&T but averages about the same speed.
  9. I as well as my family has already called to make our opinions known. If Mr. Heath is your senator, be sure he knows your views as well. If no one speaks, he will think we agree with his "Government Control" views.

Never-mind, i forgot i was discussing this with the close-minded people of Paulding county. Keep living in your judgmental and hateful ways, i will try and live happily avoiding the negativity of ya'lls world.

They can tune in all they want, but he made it very very clear that it will not be discussed further and it will be kept private. Anyone that listens to the show or has met them in person knows that they are very friendly and close with the listeners but keep many parts of their lives private. They had to announce this as his wife is part of the show. I still say it is extremely naive to use the blanket term that anything on the radio is purely for ratings. And as Jeff is the executive producer I don't think there was much go ahead needed.

So that is why they have May Sweeps in Radio and TV? They do have arbitron monthly, but they do have primary seasons they focus on, they have talked about it before on the radio. That is the time that none of them are allowed to take vacations and such. And I still say people are entitled to their opinion on this. But if you were listening or have ever listened to them, you will know that they do a lot for ratings, but for some of them their personal life is just that, personal. Jenn Hobby did the same thing with her divorce, she referenced it once, at the point when it reached the legal

Its not naive at all. Unlike most of the other shock jocks in the world, he was made a very brief announcement before he got smeared in the local media. They are a syndicated radio station, so if any media caught wind of the divorce it would immediately start making waves. So to stem that issue, as soon as they went live in their other market he made. 1-2 minute announcement, said their would be no more discussion of it, and he left the show for the day. If this was for ratings they would have waited till may when ratings count, would have drug it out, and actually said more than Jessica and

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if it's the truth or not.

Absolutely. I can't believe the hate and drama in the people on this site. Jeff did what he did so it wouldn't be in the gossip columns first. He announced it would be private for he rest of the divorce. I havent felt so bad for anyone in a while. I think it was completely her idea based on his reaction. He was truly crushed. But to think it was for ratings is truly sad. If it were they would have discussed it, instead he said his piece and left. The end.
  16. This is ridiculous. There is a reason the country makes fun of us. Our government must like u's being reliant on so much electricity and constant replacing bulbs. I swear we don't have a single senator with common sense. Ifor one haven't replaced a bulb in two years since I replaced them all with fluorescent bulbs.
  17. Wow, I can honestly say most people in this forum are completely blind to what the Georgia pre-k even is. My fiancé is a Georgia pre-k teacher, and the posts in this forum are nothing short of laughable and infuriating. Children in pre-k learn more than I learned in kindergarten and part of first grade in Paulding counties school system. Kids come in with varying degrees of prior education, but when they leave they are prepared both intellectually and in terms of behavior. One big issue with this proposed cut is that most of the pre-k teachers (which are college educated and certified)
  18. The following information was just passed to me from the Campaign for Sunday Sales "ALERT! Embedded citizen at the Capitol identifies 3 senators that appear to be the main obstacles to SB 10 for an up or down vote. #1) Bill Cowsert R-46th, Majority Caucus Chair & Floor Leader (Athens area), #2) Bill Heath R-31st , Floor Leader (West GA above I-20, #3) Greg Goggans R-7th, (Middle GA area)." So, as you can read in prior posts, a vast majority of Metro Constituents are in favor of the choice for Sunday sales. However, as I have become aware, our senators quote on the matter is that h
  19. Blockbuster filed bankruptcy a while ago and are actually up for sale as a whole now. The building format of a video store doesn't make financial sense anymore. I have only rented physical ,edia from red box for the last two or three years. And now I rent all of my movies and tv shows on my apple tv and on vudu (not to mention Netflix). I cannot see paying late fees or 6 dollars for a video that may be scratched or have to deal with lines and poor customer service.
  20. I was expecting the title to be about Apple and Intels introduction of the Thunderbol portt. Now I'm disappointed. I'm ready for some highspeed syncing and data.
  21. Wow, I havent had a checkbook in years. Ever since Community Trust went to Suntrust I haven't had checks and I have yet to need one. I definitely do not miss the days of waiting for a check to clear. I like my register to be up to the minute accurate (as much as possible anyway).
  22. They are actually just storing the equipment and about to auction it all. Nothing of note being built yet.
  23. Dang, I never actually knew I had a problem.
  24. I am one of the few that doesn't kid around non stop on P.com. They have it written all over the doors and windows that they are reopening soon and they seem to be fully stocked.
  25. I know in terms of all of my products, the Hiram Kroger sold about half of what the Crossroads and Dallas stores sold. It was in the bottom 20% of the states 170 some odd stores.
