  2. I LOVE Those things and only get them at Halloween. When I saw a bag of them at the store, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy some! I didn't get any in the halloween bag. Planning ahead pays off.
  3. I didn't notice a difference. Same crappy players, same crappy team. :chomp:
  4. oh wow. I saw on the news where a lot of people are having their interest rates jacked up to 29.99% with very little/no notice. It's insane out there.

  6. I've driven from ATL to Seattle TWICE.....when I was in my early 20's, helping friends move there. It's not a "bad" ride....just a lot of nothing once you leave the south I'd go. Need a driving buddy?
  7. Baby-daddy paid support for a full year before he ever decided he wanted to play daddy. IF he would have had rights, it would have just complicated an already complicated situation. IMO, he didn't want the responsibility, but coughed up the $$ each month. It wasn't until much later on that he realized he didn't want to be a dead-beat dad (not that he wanted to see his kid, he just didn't like the label I guess). It really is a matter of filing the correct paperwork with the correct court system.....not really a huge "hoop." Support and legitimization are two seperate forms and pr

  11. You'd have to petition the courts to have your name removed....it wouldn't automatically drop off.....and then petition family court to drop the order of support......I would imagine it wouldn't be a problem with the proper paperwork and court fees. I'm glad they changed the law....it's not right that a woman can put anyone's name on there without the dude having a say in the matter.
  12. It was in GA....Austell actually. I filled out his info at the hospital, but was told HE has to sign an acknowlegement of paternity within so many days or get a paternity test to get his name on the birth certificate.
  13. I had my daughter out of wedlock and her dad was deadbeat for the first 2 1/2 years of her life (until this past summer). I could NOT put his name on her B.C. without him signing an alpha-david (sorry, inside joke) stating he is the father. Since he wouldn't do that, I had to go the route of Maury. I filed child-support paperwork and CSS tracked him down and ordered a paternity test. Once paternity was established, CSS patitioned the courts for child support. This all took place the summer before last and he was ordered to pay. Financial support does not mean parental rights. TO THIS
  14. I only get paid for working 190 187 days.....they just divide the $$ I earn from those days over 12 months. I assure you I'm not "making" money during the summer....simply getting what I earned and didn't get during the school year. Lord knows I couldn't budget my way through a summer if they didn't do it that way!!
  15. I'm not worried about my middle school students being in school that long....I'm worried about ME being with middle school students that long I only have so much patience for other peoples' kids....
