I found ONE oil place open on a Sunday and paid $42 to get it changed. It was the most expensive oil change of my life, but I had to get it done. I typically pay $19.99, $24.99, or at most $29.99. IF I go to the place where I got my tires, I get those balanced and rotated too.

I burned 4 billable hours today dealing with crap that I paid DD to do. Paperwork was due to be filed by 3/11/10 (45 day limit after service)...I fired DD on 6/2/10. I trucking hate paying someone else to do the job I've already paid someone to do.

I think the motivation behind the spa days is what got to me in the OP. Spa days for fun and relaxation and bonding with mom/friends is okay. Spa days to get nails, hair, and facials to FIT IN is not okay. Of course, that's just my opinion..
