Hi! If you can describe the cake to me I can send you a pic. Or come by the bakery sometime. I am sure we can fix you up with what you are looking for.

I have already been trying to do that. Maybe I have been posting at the wrong times.

lol. Go ahead and blame us. I tell people our stuff has no calories, but ....it is worth it. I am off work today and looking up recipes for the bakery. I must be nuts. But my hubby is watching tennis and I don't like watching tennis. So, I will look for some special treats for Valentines Day!

I have the opposite problem. I wear a 5 1/2 in women's and a 3 1/2 in boys. In h.s. I wore a 4 in girls. Ever try shopping for prom shoes in the little girl's dept? I gave up and went to a Bob Seger concert instead. lol

My husband (who is an awesome mechanic, he used to be a certified Honda tech before he went into the field he is in now) said that most likely the cam shaft went out on it and it just needs a new head. Most repair places that you would get it towed to will try to make as much money as possible, and try to get you to replace the engine. My nephew is getting a new head for his small foreign car for less than $300 and my hubby is going to help him put in in. Is there anyway you can get it towed here or somewhere that someone you could really trust could look at it? At the very least, get a second

It is beautiful, isn't it! The rates depend on the day, event, time needed, etc. It is about $100 an hour on the average. You can call Buddy at the bakery number for specifics.

We actually work 6 days a week. Sunday is the only day someone is not in the bakery. In order for us to be open 6 days a week, we would have to work 7 days a week. And believe me, we need a day off. haha! We have to start working the day before in order to do prep work so the cases are full for the next day and to have the special order cakes done. Then we have 2 people in the kitchen baking and working from 6am on the days we are open. If you ever want something, call earlier in the day and ask us to hold it. Then if we are still there cleaning when you come by up you could knock on the door

Yes, we do make cookies cakes. From scratch, they are thicker than the ones you will see at grocery stores and taste great! We can decorate it any way you like. They are $18.99 for the 12 inch round and $28.00 for a quarter sheet cake size. Thanks for the great comments. And as for the grits, I understand what you mean. The first time I saw them I was definitely not interested. lol. But after tasting them, I was surprised to find I did like them even though I prefer my grits with butter and cheese. haha! Remind me next time you come in and I will give you a free cookie! ) Thanks aga

Yes, we have canollis! I had a man from New Jersey come in yesterday to get some and he said they were wonderful and tasted like "home"...he came back today to get more. So, come in and give them a try. I bet your husband will love them. If you ever want to come back, we also have a whipped icing and a cream cheese icing that isn't as sweet. Our regular icing is a buttercream made with real butter. No shortening. While we can make the icings you have tasted from grocery stores and some other bakeries, it is made by request only. Their icings almost always have shortening and mering

Thanks for putting up the poll, QuickSilver! It is nice to hear all the good, and also the no-so-good remarks. Everyone has been so nice to us. While we have only been open a couple of months, I feel like I have met and talked to half of Paulding County. lol If you ever want a whipped filling instead of the buttercream, just give us a call and we will be happy to make them that way for you. You would be AMAZED at how many people come in just for the cream horns! they are one of our top sellers.

It was so good! I had it for lunch today. As a matter of fact, Buddy, the owner, liked it so much he thought we should have it again tomorrow. And we had a few people tell us they wished we would have it again. So we will be making another pot in the morning. I wish I'd had my camera with me today. Buddy was hilarious with cheese dripping down his chin. So, if you get out and about, come by and try it.

Well, to start, we are having a contest for all of our employees. Each and every person is going to make something that will be for sale for Valentine's Day, but first, we are going to display them for a day or so and have our customers vote on their fav. We have 3 amazing decorators, one of them will probably win. lol. But, the rest of us will be making something, too. That includes the girls who wait on customers, Buddy and Janice, the owners, Caleb, our amazing baker and me. We have all been looking up recipes and designs and are pretty excited about it. If I can figure out how, I will post

Why not make it a little special by coming to the bakery for a "treat?" Shameless plug, sorry. haha. It is a special day for my hubby and me because it will be our 28th anniversary. (How did I get old enough to be married so long? I still feel 30!) I have written love notes on hubby's truck windows, filled his truck with red balloons, made him sweet treats, bought him gifts. I also buy my kids small gifts and candy on VDay. We usually go out to dinner somewhere special, that we normally wouldn't go to. I try to find a place that takes reservations, so we don't have to wait.
