I would love to see an SEC team in the National Championship but I am afraid that this mess at Auburn could screw the conference championship and all the other bowl games if Auburn has to forfeit all of it's games.

I'm a fan of the SEC but I am tired of players getting the free education and violating so many rules as if non of it pertains to them. The school does not make any difference.

It wasn't my son! I was talking about Cam Newton, son of Bishop Cecil Newton, QB for Auburn. None of this has been denied and it happened at Florida. He left the school before anything could happen to him. He is on track for the Heisman, possible National Championship, multi-million dollar pro contract and a nice church for his father, a man of God. This is what football can do for you.

The scenario: Your son gets caught twice cheating in college and then to beat that, he steals something from another student. What do you do? What happens to him? Not what any parent dreams of.

During the winter months, students and teachers can wear coats, gloves, hats in school and no heat will be turned on. During the warm/hot months, the people at school can wear bathing suits. They also can have battery powered reading lamps with them to see better in school. LOL

Some people went because they are sick of the lies that come out of the board office. They wanted to see what the truth may be.

How's the coverage of "news" items and sports in the Marietta paper? I have not been happy with the AJC.

Is it possible that if the band directors, band parents and school adm didn't focus so much attention on what and how they do at marching contests, they be able to do more entertaining shows?

Good people do not want to go through the scrutiny running for office. Paulding County, the state of Georgia and nationally, we hear about poor candidates who are questionable for the office they are running for. As for as the Governor's race, Barnes has been proven a liar in past history and Deal has not. It's hard to believe the press on the candidates. If Deal gets elected and is proven to be a liar, he may not be elected Governor again but may have to run for President.

If you believe everything you read, there isn't an honest candidate running for any job in Georgia. I really wish only the truth could be repeated in the press. With this race for governor, who has openly lied and cheated the most? Is it that corrupt? Isn't that what movies are made about? I just heard about a condo building trying to hire a new manager. It came down to which unqualified, dishonest person they would give the job to. All five of the finalists had major issues and they were the finalists.

In the primary she beat a person that admitted and apologized for his mistakes. She can do all this and act like nothing ever happened. It's what the people of Paulding County want, very little for their money.

When Barnes was in office before , he did what he always does, he lied. He has always been somewhat deceitful. He made promises to teachers and did not keep them. He treated the teachers unprofessionally. He has already offered an apology, so he admits he was wrong. The problem is how many times can you trust a rabid pitbull.

I saw the episode and agree completely on Jennifer Love Hewitt. She looked and acted the best and more differently then I have ever seen her.

The best new show I have seen is "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO. It reminds a little of the movie "Godfather" which of course is one of the great movies. I think it will make it and will win a bunch of "Emmys" next year. It is rough in spots and is "R" rated.
