In the spirit of water conservation I feel that I must sacrifice as many others have. I will now be switching to drinking beer until further notice. Keep in mind this is not for recreational or pleasurable purposes...it is my civic duty! Sacrifices must be made!!!

Construction Teacher replied to GACat's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Anybody have any word on Hwy 61 from Ridge Rd to Villa Rica? I have to get to So Ga today for a hearing against my ex. Can't miss that one. -
No problem. I teach High School Construction in Cobb Co. but live here in Paulding. I taught the same for the previous 4 years in So. Ga. and have dealt with a fair amount of flooding down there in '98.

If you are on a septic tank try not to send any more water down the drain than you have to...tub, toilet, sink, etc... The drain field for your septic tank operates on the principle of waste water leeching out into the ground by dissipation and evaporation. As the ground is already saturated the extra water has nowhere to go. Sewage may pool in your yard or possibly back up into your home. Reasonable use should be fine but I wouldn't get excessive with it. Public drinking water should be fine. Well water should be okay too but stay tuned for any radio or tv public service announcements in r

In my travels in the military I've been to quite a few places and encountered many panhandlers. Most have gotten smart and will ask for a specific amount (sometimes down to the penny) to give the appearance of needing to buy something specific. I actually have had one ask me for a dollar so he could buy a beer. He said, "I aint gonna lie I need a drink." I gave it to him just because he was honest.

Songs that touch the heart?

The Change by Garth Brooks. I told my wife I wanted that played when I kick off. She won't listen to the song now. -
Thanks for the tips on the Mexican Restaurants.

Thanks for the heads up.

Ribeye, Baked Potato, and Green Bean Salad. Where can we find a good Mexican Restaurant? Preferably authentic...I mean Taco Bell is great and all but since the chihuahua passed it'll never be the same. LOL

And I caught he** trying to buy a house last month. I've been gainfully employed for years always made house payments on time. Get a job, work hard, pay taxes...the laziest among us are counting on it!!!

Might give this one a shot after my wife gets back from the PC show. Thanks. It does look kinda cool.

Just got back from eating at Rodneys for the 1st time. Had the brisket, fries and a BIG bowl of brunswick stew. I'm in pain now...will I never learn?!?!?! Probably not.

Thanks to everyone for all the responses and suggestions. Sure beats the hit and miss of the yellow pages.

Yes there are. They are in the same office complex as West Atlanta Pediatrics. I am sure they aren't affiliated though. Told me that it was a hard and fast rule. I told them I wouldn't allow my special needs daughter to go by herself, I can appreciate their rules but, unfortunately we wouldn't be doing business there.

Just moved to Paulding Co. less than 2 weeks ago from South Georgia. Actually been in the area since before school started. Finally closed on our house. My wife and I are both school teachers. We have 10 yo twins (boy and girl). We are looking for a good pediatrician, pediatric dentist, and a family practice physician. My daughter is special needs so I am looking for a dentist that will allow a parent to be in the room with her during exams and cleaning. Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions.

Thanks. She allows me NASCAR and the NFL so I try to oblige with craft shows and honey-do's and honey-did's. -

Where is Paulding Meadows? We are new to Paulding County. Just moved in on August 26th. Want to take my wife to the craft show but don't know where it is. -
I quit counting when I ran out of fingers. Sorry.
