I have a Magellan which works great for what I want. They all use the same street mapping service. However they get the street names for Paulding, from the county, the post office, or whoever, they aren't getting updated. There all are missing streets and have misspelled streets (e.g. Charice for Clarice) or have outdated street names (parts of Nebo have their old street names). Also, they all give hints at stret names when you type in your destination. For instance, when you type Ne, it is already suggesting Nebo. I have brother-in-law who doesn't look at what it's chosen, so

A few months back, I did get a letter, supposedly from a bank where I have an account saying there was potential fraud on the account as some merchant lost some of their records, giving a different 800# tha on the back of the card. I called the # on the back of the card instead, and it was a legitimate letter, and they sent me a new card ... but I wouldn't have called the number in the letter in any case.

was getting several calls from an out of town # identfied as "CARD SERVICES". This time I got a robo-call from this local # 404-503-2136 from Rachel, identifying her as a WIRELESS CALLER. Message said CARD SERVICES and to reduce interest rate, press 9. Several folks around the country have gotten these --- purpose is to get credit card info.

You do know that it's the Social Security Administration that puts out these records in a file used by all of the geneology software and websites,www.ancestry.com, www.geneology.com, etc.? Those records include all of the data you described and come out every year.

The store at 92 & Nebo closed a while back and then reopened after "remodeling". Too bad, they had some nice stuff in there, none of which looked hijacked. A couple of years ago, they did have stuff with the K-mart label. The appliance outlet on 92 was aslo called Smith but the name is off of that store.

You can use any gas company --- they don't actually deliver the gas --- Atlanta Gas Light does --- they just compete to charge you for it. I use Coweta Fayette EMC, which has some of the best rates. I got a call a few days ago from one credit card company that my number may have been compromised at a merchant location and that they were colsing my account and sending a new card. Also, no idea how that happened, as I only use it online, and at the merchant whose branded name is on the card, and have seen no fraudulent charges.
