I did see that. It is so sad! These children found a home with people who truly wanted them. It will be nearly impossible to place them all in a timely manner, and you can forget anyone taking all of them together. Children with these disabilities are a career. They would not be able to have much more of a life other than the children. They were probably receiving extra help, but it would still be difficult for someone to take on that kind of duty. It is a definite calling. I hope for the best for all of their children, the biological and the adopted ones.

My daughter's friend is staying with us until they go back to school. She is having a laptop problem. Her network adapter shows it is working correctly. It shows she is connected to the network. Everything looks good. However, she cannot get on the internet. It says the page cannot be displayed, the way it does when you are offline and try to connect. What can we do to make it connect? If her network adapter is working properly and she is connected to the network, why can she not get the web pages to open up? Thanks for helping guys. I do appreciate it when I get help.

By law, in this order: Legal Spouse (living together does not count) Adult Children Parents Siblings then on down the family line. Unless an advanced directive was written stating otherwise, that is the law on all decisions. Has anyone told the family what the child wants? It may be for the travel and funeral. Encourage them to have a funeral here and burial, then a small memorial at home for the family there.

I have Verizon and I can block numbers. DD was having a constant calling problem with her ex. He didn't like being the ex. I called Verizon and they have a service where you can block some numbers. I can't remember if it is 5 or 10 numbers, but I do know it costs $5 a month! It was worth it. Call your cell service company and ask. They may have a service like this.

You just didn't know. She was an expert at covering it up because the consequences of not covering it up would be harsh. Either he would go off on her when he got her alone. People would ridicule her. Embarrassment. Shame. Fear. Hurt. How would she take care of the kids? Would he get the kids? All those things led to her not letting anyone know. Be a friend now. I'm sorry it went like that. When you do it again, don't go into his room when you check on him. Stop by the door and just peek in. If he talks, just put your finger to your lips and tell him it's sleepy time. Don't have a conversation. Peek in and leave. Check the caffeine intake. Is he having caffeine too close to bed? I know some kids who are evil. Not exaggerating. It sometimes has a basis in very early childhood abuse, sometimes they are just born that way. And sometimes they have parents who never taught them right from wrong. They allowed the children to believe they deserved anything they want no matter what they do. My mother bought me one about 2 years ago. I left it in the box until a few weeks ago. I love it! I even have made chicken salad in it. Haven't got that technique down quite yet. Had the consistency of potted meat, but tasted great! I am drinking a ton of water and I put water and ice in a cup for a cold frosty mug of crushed ice and water. I have made smoothies in the mugs. Easy and quick! Clean up is a breeze too. Wish I had opened it years ago! I never liked digging out my big blender. This is small and slides out of the way.
