A plan is a biggie. Access to the plan is one aspect to consider. Someone tells you they plan to jump off the Empire State Building, it isn't very likely. Someone tells you they are going to jump in front of a truck, more likely. You have to judge it on the reality of the plan, and whether or not there is any intent to act. A teenager who says, "I should just kill myself!" may not have any intent. You have to make sure they are making a threat to self harm and not just venting a frustration. Tough call. I just saw a man today that we had to have hospitalized a few weeks back. He thanked me for tricking him and getting him sent to the hospital. I hate lying to my patients sometimes, but the idea of him running and not getting the help he needed worried me to death. NOT in Paulding.

I think the cat urine is the least of her problems.

I have had the stomach bug from he!! for the past 3 days. Maybe, hoping anyway, this person is just coming down with this bug and not stupid enough to drink and drive. It hit me with no warning.

It sounds like a wonderful woman who will be terribly missed. May her love and zeal give you strength through this difficult time. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Well that would explain it! I bet we come up on the scanner several times a week here. I work in a mental health center.

I truly, truly hope this was a misunderstanding and someone was just asking a child for directions. Not a bright thing to do, but he may have been the only person they saw outside and didn't think anything of it. I hate to think this was a real abduction attempt. I know it is possible, I just don't want it to be.

I know the police were gone when I got home. I hope that means he was caught. If not, maybe he'll be at my office in the morning for an evaluation. We are in the direction he was heading. LOL!

Yep. May not be a great idea for an idiot to be running from the cops back there this time of year. Deer season is wide open and lots of guns out there right now.

Update! Apparently they have not caught him. Police car is parked in front of my house looking for him. Stopped my FIL and nephew to check them out.

I meant the lake. I live on Dabbs Bridge. I know where the schools and Harmony Grove are. I am 2 miles from the stop sign. I just wanted to make sure this was the opposite direction.

Dagnabit! I live right there! Calling my DIL and telling her to lock the doors.

I worked with his niece. I need to contact her and see if she is okay.

My DIL and son are there. A full size truck hit a little car with an older couple in it. She said it was bad. Truck not hurt too bad, but car is. Prayers for these people.

That is almost 7 hours missing! That is a LONG time for such a small child. I hope everything is okay.
