"Less filling!" "Tastes great!" Sometimes it just gets out of hand....

Last time I parked Economy at the airport there was plenty of parking way-way out (where I parked) but the closer you got to the terminal every one of those yellow hashed areas had a car parked. Lexus, BMWs, Mercedes, all high dollar vehicles. Hope I didn't damage their paint with my luggage having to squeeze by and all....

Are there certain foods you just don't like

Pickled Beets. You know, the ones they'd slop on your lunch tray back in grade school getting that purple juice all over something good, like the peanut butter cookie with the little fork marks in the top, then you'd have to throw the whole thing away. bleck! -
"Beautiful" people that you'd like to smack with a brick

The person or persons who decided to use Phillip Phillips song on the American Family Insurance commercials. I don't know if they're pretty or not but for Pete's sake, stop airing that commercial with the same musical clip! I'm tired of hearing it! -
I guess a hospital is like the Falcons new stadium, you (the taxpayers) build it but we'll take the profit.

Ya gotta be careful who you hire. We contracted a so called big name tree company to take out two trees like what you need, from the top down and grind the stumps, an insured and bonded company. Turns out THEY didn't do the work, they subbed it to another company that in the end didn't get paid. Why? The big companys sales guy, the one that quoted our job and the one that took our check, was stealing from the company. I ended up with the sub calling me for payment. What the sub didn't know was that I refused full payment due to damage they caused to a fence and had only paid a quarter of the c

By the way, I read yesterday that the average wedding these days costs an average $27,000. 27K ??? I find that hard to believe. -
Life Change Merchandise is out of control

We worked three, different situations required different bags. There was the standard use bag, came from Target, large center pouch, several smaller compartments, shoulder strap, easy to clean, holds a lot of stuff (diapers, large wipes box, changing mat, bibs, change of cloths, snacks, bottles, butt cream, nose wipes, comb, hats, meds, etc), this bag was used on long trips, all day outtings, visits with family....This bag was so cluttered and cumbersome it became a pain to include it on a short trip. So there was the small bag. This bag contained diapers, wipes, and maybe a snack and bott -
Some say lead to blame for most crime since 1960

My son was in for his 2 year checkup last week and they did a blood lead level test which is standard during this checkup for all kids. Results aren't in yet but there is no reason to believe he's been overly exposed since our house, church and his daycare, where he spends most of his time, were all constructed in the 2000's and not prior to 1978, a dated associated with the lead based paint regs. If he were to have an elevated level it would be due to nonpoint of source pollution that would include industrial and commercial sources (not a major threat in Paulding County), improper demolition -
I inspected a bunch of buildings that once stood where the Olympic Park is today and I found a lot of wallets, personal belongings and knives on those roofs. Perps will often throw things on a roof to conceal evidence.

The one I can't stand is Justin Farmer (is he related to Don?) Listening to him sounds like someone reading a story to kindergardeners. "The man robbed the store. See the man run away. Run man run." Geez, develop some personality and let the story flow instead of just reading copy.

I've done some work for Gary Miller (CEO of Greystone) and he's a great guy as are the employees at Greystone. But this might be one of those things that you have to ask specifically about to be included in the program. I'd be interested to hear from those that have had experience in this area. If it's not working then I need to amend my billing process.

The TSA disclosed the Airport Screening Results.

My Mom flew standby over the holidays and upon arrival in Florida found two frozen fish in her luggage. (My comment was "You're upset cause that's not what you ordered?") My brother-in-law who's a pilot with Delta called TSA concerning the frozen entree stow-a-ways and was told to call back between the hours of 9-5. So the bottom line is we don't know if they are "keepers" cause the TSA believes that security only is necessary between those hours. -
We're with Greystone and we roundup our bill every month to help folks in this situation. I think Georgia Power has this program too. I don't know what the process is but call them and ask specifically about this program.

Gee, I drive Hiram all the time and I've never been ticketed or stopped, I'm beginning to feel like I'm being discriminated against. Did once have an officer pull up and roll down his window to tell me my brake lights weren't working (switch went bad) and I'm glad he said something. Now the wife, she was stopped in my car at 12:30 in the morning after running a very sick child to the emergency room, seems it was the dreaded "license plate lights out" that got her. No ticket but the bulb was burned out. Seemes to my that the police are just doing their job. Keep in mind, they need at least

It'll probably see the roof but the interior of the car has too much contrasting colors and shapes. These things, along with the burried units, don't "see" motorcycles either. Several states have passed laws that allow a biker, after waiting an amount of time, to move into the intersection as long as it's safe. Kinda hard to define when it's safe though.

Hard to tell these days, maybe Bud went fishing with the folks from the Catfish Den....

A short explination of these devices: The overhead cameras you see at a traffic signal are solely for detecting the presence of vehicles in order to provide the best distribution of green time based on traffic demand. They are cost-effective replacements for in-ground induction loops that are cut into the pavement. The cameras are not focused on you the driver, but instead on your vehicle as it moves towards the intersection. As your vehicle enters defined areas or "zones" within the camera's field of view, the camera's processor detects a change in the "zone". An output is sent to th

I think they want to keep the Café as a nice social place to meet. I was brought up with the rule that at a social gathering you don't discuss certain subjects because it will only lead to confrontation, misunderstanding and anger. Those subjects include, but isn't limited to, sex, religion and politics. I think you can add BBQ to that list.

Just last night my wife commented on how nice it was to have my Mom visit this past week at Christmas. Guess I'm lucky. You should have the dicussion with your husband and your mother as to the when and how long before she shows up. That way everyone knows what to expect. Leaving an open ended invitation can only lead to disappointment and anger on many parts.

Covered the bases, blackeye peas, collard greens, pork'n kraut, cornbread, mashed taters. It was gooooood!

Having recently moved from Douglas County I know that their landfill/recycling center takes trees. I would get trailers full to place on my property to help slow erosion.

My Dad had handguns when he owned his Montgomery Ward store, he carried cash at times and needed the protection. At that time we moved to where I had access to my grand parents farm which consisted of almost 200 acres and that's when I got my first .22, a Western Field that was sold by Montgomery Ward but made by Mossberg, it's a semi-auto. I must have been 12 at the time. Then I got my 12 guage also a Western Field. Hunting rifles and archery came later as I got into hunting. That farm produced some nice deer with pheasant and rabbits plentiful. Now I have no property to hunt and the guns jus

I've got a defender and the wife has the commuter and the defender has a better fitting exterior rubber outter cover. Bought it on Amazon for a lot less than local retail.

Ya can't really see much from the street, has a photo ever been published of his display from the house side? I drive past every day and wonder what it really looks like.
