We have to be realistic. The airport is there, it is not going away. It could be an abandoned airport, but I can't see how that would help Paulding County. So, we have to find a use for the airport that will help make it a useful tool for the county. There will never be a way to make it a noiseless airport, at least not in our lifetime. So what can we do at the airport to try and make it a money earner or at least less of a money drain? As I understand the article in the AJC, the only reason this Douglasville meeting wasn't subject to investigation under the Sunshine Laws, is due to the people involved being able to keep it quiet until the deadline passed for it to be investigated.
