  1. Thanks all. I am on my way to see someone at this place. Mods, please close this thread. Thank you all again. (the peas are safe....for now)
  2. Only if you can wait till sometime next week.
  3. My tooth hurts NOW. Any suggestions? And County Dental Provider is not an option. They want me to wait two weeks while it swells to the size of a small cantaloupe. (OK, they didn't say those words, but I know what happens)
  4. It was several years ago, it was a Jim and he was a DA for the county. Too many Jims for the time of night I was posting. Yes, it was Jim Osborne. My bad. (as the kids say)
  5. If it is an emergency, don't call County Dental Provider, they want you to wait 2 weeks. That's like going to the emergency room and bleeding in the waiting room for two weeks while some prissy little gal says, "I'm sorry." :giggle:
  6. I though Al invented the internet? Or did he tell a fib?
  7. Mine is about 5'2" and loves me in spite of the fact I don't do dishes.
  8. Here comes the fun again, posting like it's never been.
  9. Yeh, I agree, I'm not sure that party matters. It is a entitlement mentality. That type of thing, in my opinion, not only crosses party lines, it is overwhelmingly prevalent in both parties. I don't know Jim Galloway, but I did play in a golf foursome (for charity) with him many years ago. It was Jim, me, a developer and a friend of the developer. I got invited at the very last minute because the developer who was scheduled to play couldn't make it and my buddy knew I could get out on a weekday and could pay the $150 fee. I found Jim to be a very nice man to play golf with. That is p
  10. It always helps to let someone know you are stopping by. Otherwise, you wouldn't have time to hide the dope, clean up the bongs and get ride of the needles. Get the home "cleaned", some food in the fridge and some clothes washed for the kids. After all DEFACS is only involved because some busy body made a complaint. Nothing really bad ever happens to these kids. (please ignore the recent deaths of children who were under DEFACS care) Perhaps we should let all criminals know when the police may stop by. (I know, I know, just because DEFACS is involved doesn't make them criminals) Th
  11. I see my yard work plan is coming together, I haven't gotten up the leaves since they fell. Now they will all be blown out of my yard. (yes, I am a bad neighbor)
  12. Just for the record, I was wrong. I'm not sure about what, but when the wife gets home I am sure she will tell me. (she always does)
  13. I have some friends that are trapped in Clayton County. They are trapped because their houses have lost so much value they would take a bath to move. Riff-raff is a mild term they would use to describe who stays in their county.
  14. Hey! If ya got it, flaunt it. I was buying my son a blueray player and the guy helping me asked, "Do you have a smart TV?" My stuttering reply (I didn't and still don't know what a smart TV is). "I got a color TV." The man's quick reply, "I would hope so."
  15. I would get a color one, they are pretty nifty.
  16. One thing to keep in mind is that the Malaysian officials may be reluctant to admit that their people dropped the ball with this plane. So that could be why things sound confused. I suspect there is some of this happening. When there is a big problem and there have been mistakes made, governments and their officials often don't just come right out and tell what happened. They obfuscate, release limited information, often only half of the truth and hope that the issue will be resolved, without them having to come clean about what really happened. In this case, they hope the missing plane w
  17. Or crashed in the jungle. Either way, it is down and not because it landed.
  18. It's in the water, shhhhhh, don't tell anyone. Or it could be because:
  19. I will just let the story speak for it's self. A 22-pound house cat "with a history of violence" trapped an Oregon family -- and their dog -- in a bedroom until police arrived to save them. http://www.latimes.com/nation/shareitnow/la-sh-22-pound-house-cat-traps-family-20140311,0,7902156.story#ixzz2vl3QGcss
  20. No surprise I am sure, but my favorite also.
