I see at least one of the mods is up and active. And I don't mean in this thread. Nothing wrong with talking or answering yourself. Is there? Nope, not one thing wrong with that. Thank you. Your welcome. (I envy schizophrenics, they only have two people inside their heads) (it's a joke, I know schizophrenia is a serious thing)

US Air Force Rules: 1. Have a cocktail. 2. Adjust temperature on air-conditioner. 3. See what's on HBO. 4. Ask "what is a gunfight?" 5. Request more funding from Congress with a "killer" Power Point presentation. 6. Wine & dine 'key' Congressmen, invite DOD & defense industry executives. 7. Receive funding, set up new command and assemble assets. 8. Declare the assets "strategic" and never deploy them operationally. 9. Hurry to make 13:45 tee-time. 10. Make sure the base is as far as possible from the conflict but close enough to have tax exemption. US Army Rul -

National Guard Halts training at airport

We have to be realistic. The airport is there, it is not going away. It could be an abandoned airport, but I can't see how that would help Paulding County. So, we have to find a use for the airport that will help make it a useful tool for the county. There will never be a way to make it a noiseless airport, at least not in our lifetime. So what can we do at the airport to try and make it a money earner or at least less of a money drain? I would think having the GA National Guard practice there is one of the ways to smartly use our airport. For those who live around the airport, I -

Secret meetings, code names, forgetting about minutes
cookies are sweet replied to tundra's topic in Paulding County NEWS
As I understand the article in the AJC, the only reason this Douglasville meeting wasn't subject to investigation under the Sunshine Laws, is due to the people involved being able to keep it quiet until the deadline passed for it to be investigated. But, I am sure that is all just a big coinkidink. -

Let me see if I understand this correctly. Blake Swafford said that the people who are duly elected to do a job, CANNOT BE COUNTED ON TO DO SAID JOB, UNLESS YOU LOCK THEM UP AWAY FROM THEIR HOMES? They can't even be expected to stay "in the room" when dealing with something this major?? It sounds to me like Blake Swafford is saying the people who are wanting the commercialization of the airport don't even have enough attention span to know what they are for or against. Sad sad sad, when someone has to be locked in a room, out of town, in order to get them to do the job they were e -

I agree with you, except I will give Mr. Thompson this out (just because I think it is common sense), if times and conditions change and he finds that he has to go back on his word, then he owes it to the people of Paulding County to make a public announcement explaining exactly what has changed and why he has to go back on his word.

Well that just shows that you don't read enough of my posts. Now to address your MORONIC example. 1. What a private individual does with something they own, has no bearing on what an elected official says they will do and what they actually do. 2. When you make a statement saying the words "never ever", you better be prepared to stand behind them or give damn good reasons why you are going back on your word. 3. From your over reaction I can only presume that perhaps a current or ex spouse or perhaps someone you do business with, has had a similar discussion with you about keeping your word
