Buffalo Wild Wings has a happy hour everyday, but I think the specials vary. I don't know what the beer special is this week. But, they do have $2.00 well drinks I believe.

I wanted to go there! I have read some really great things about this place. I couldn't get the parents there, though. They were hot and tired of walking.

Who? Maybe a Mrs. Lorena Bobbit could ::ahem:: do the trick?

Oh, and if you have time, visit St. Louis #1 cemetary. It is very, very interesting, and totally worth the time. We took a guided tour, but probably could have done it on our own. Just take a lot of water in with you. It's hotter inside the walls than outside. Madame (Marie) Laveau is buried there, among several other famous people. It's the oldest cemetary in NO. Very, very awesome.

I just got back from there! Eat a muffaletta at Central Grocery. It is a little deli right across the street from the French Market & Cafe Du Monde by the river. (Do NOT go the place called Frank's that is two doors down. It's gross, and even though it looks nice they are not clean. And I do not care what they tell you, Central Grocery is the original place for the muffaletta.) When you are done, go across the street and have beignets for dessert. Get a Lucky Dog, too, if you can. And a Hurricane from Pat O'Brian's is a must, too. That is an alcoholic drink, though, so only if you drin

Well girl, you've got to try!

I missed this earlier... you are so right. I agree with this 100%. PS - I am ashamed of a lot of stuff I did when I was 18, 19, and even 20. I think that most people have something they can't believe they did or said at that age.

.......and there goes my lunch...... What a sick b*stard.

It just doesn't bother me, and I don't feel degraded. If she wants to do it, fine. It's her thing. I wonder if the tables were turned... What if it were women hunting down naked men in the woods? Would you feel it was degrading to men as a whole? I doubt most peoplewomen would. It's a double standard, and not very fair. These are different times we live in now.

I think LR might be right, but there may be, oh I don't know, about three threads that may need some help? What do I know? I'm just sayin'...

Just lol at this whole thread.... Naw... even if it were for real it doesn't bother me.

That's funny (and sweet!). I gave those same directions to my mom when she found out I could make it and she couldn't. I didn't know how else to explain it! She got mad. LOL. When I was a little girl I spent Saturday mornings watching my grandpa make us breakfast. He always made chicken gravey with left over chicken from the night before. He did it that way.

You are absolutely right.

Mine is long, but I do the same with butter, flour, and broth. It's in my too long of a post If you have ever made pan gravy or sawdust gravy this should be no problem for you. It's not hard at all. Just do the butter, then flour. Mix until smooth. Then add broth slowly while wisking the whole time. Stop adding broth when you get the thickness you want.

I have two, and easy one and a little less easy one. The harder, more homemade one: 1 whole chicken 3-4lb pre cooked 1 package pie crust, reg. 1 package pie crust, deep dish ½ onion ½ C frozen peas ½ C frozen corn 1-2 tbsp flour 1-2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp canola oil Water Sour cream or heavy cream – depends on if I have it. Place chicken in a stock pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, and boil about 20 min per pound. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Reserve water/broth. Dice the onion, and set aside. When cooled, pick the meat, discarding the skin and bones. Preheat the o
