I've gotten some stuff for the hubs. I got my grandma's, and a stocking stuffer for my mom. That is about it. I don't understand - I was loaded down with shopping bags from Black Friday :digstoeinthedirt&whistles: I have no idea who all that stuff was for Merry Christmas to meeee..... lol I couldn't help it - Nine West and Gap was having 50% sales!! lol I have a friend coming down Saturday to finish shopping, so I will be getting the rest of the stuff on Saturday at either Town Center, Perimeter, or Cumberland Mall. I haven't decided which mall to go to. I am leaning towar

IDK. What I do know is that it is terrible, and incredibly sad. It makes my heart hurt to see these stories. I woke up this morning and instantly beginning thinking of Kyron Horman for some reason, and I've been thinking of him all day. Last night I saw a snippet of news about the little girl in Hickory, NC and I made my husband change it - the lump in my throat grew just seeing her picture. I just do not understand why horrible things such as these happen, especially to children.

I second the Brookfield Zoo. I went there when I was a kid - 5th grand I think, and it is by far the "awsomest" zoo ever, lol. Well, I have only been to 4 zoos, but this one is really great. The gorilla exhibit was my favorite, and just really really neat. Wasn't this where the littleboy fell in the gorilla pit and one of them took care of him? LOL I did the same thing with my Keds. I think I had LA Gear from grandma, too, but I can't remember. I never had the Reebok ones with the air pumps on the tongue, or the Bass, either. Not even the knock offs, lol. Yea, those shocks are ugly, but if I were a kid I'd want a pair.

Awww, it's not fun to not open gifts (unwrap)! When I was a kid all the stuff was wrapped in the same, but that was b/c "my birthday was on Christmas day and Santa was so busy since we celebrated early so Mom had to help him out". lol Besides, I LOVE wrapping gifs. Every year I have a color theme. This year it's black, white, red and silver.

Gotcha. Thta is what I thought you meant but wanted to be sure. I can see how it can bother someone, but to me it doesn't really matter - as long as the person that changed it notes they did so, or changes the color of what they add to the post. I've done it before to get my point across. Never have I done it maliciously (sp?), though. I have only see that done once, though. And I think Naturegirl had an issue similar not long ago. I agree. While we are at it, hows about made up words? Folks, "irregardless" is NOT a word. Look it up - wait, it's not there. The prefix "ir-" put in front of "regardless" is actually saying it is "in regards to", "it does regard", "it does have to do with"... etc. etc. Kind of along the lines of an oxymoron. Whatever - just STOP SAYING IRREGARDLESS. NO SUCH WORD. Look up the word "regardless" and I think you'll find that is actually what you mean.
