How very sad.
-
My oldest will be 36 this month and my youngest will be 16 in June. It's hard to get my son that is still at home to understand that all of the teenage stuff he is going through, will pass quickly. I know he feels like he hates me sometimes and while I may hate the moods that he goes through - he is still my baby. I wish I had some of those little boy times back with all three of my sons. This is a good thread. We should all enjoy and love our children more, especially when they are frustrating the h*ll out of us.

Yep, and it's pretty hard not to be depressed right now - and I'm not in my 40's (although I know you are), I'll soon be 60.

Anyone have any experience dealing with it?

What about the new Burnt Hickory Park and there's ice skating in Kennesaw.

That sounds really good, have never been there. We don't go out much but my favorites have been the baked cheese ravioli from De Gusto (they are now closed) or the pecan crusted chicken salad from O'Charleys - their potato soup is good too. -
If I eat potato chips it's usually salt and vinegar. I also like Tostitos white corn restaurant style chips with melted cheese in the microwave and salsa on top.

There was something on Good Morning America this morning about parking lot rage. A woman is in a coma because she was standing in a parking space trying to save it for her boyfriend and she and a man have an altercation, she gets hit in the head and ends up in a coma. They showed scenes from Fried Green Tomatoes and Kathy Bates in the parking lot and also a scene with Kathy Bates in Misery.

NO-O-O-O!!!

This is the same thing that Andy Rooney was saying in his commentary yesterday on 60 minutes.

I don't watch that show but surely someone else could take his place or they could develop another character. He is not the only comedic actor in this country. I just read on cbsnews.com that John Stamos, Jerry OConnell and Donny Osmond are all being considered.

The "violent emotion" was triggered by Flores looking at his computer and seeing information about Van der Sloot being connected to the Natalee Holloway and asking him about it.
-
Joran Van der Sloot may plead guilty by temporary insanity with a "violent emotion" defense in the murder of the Peruvian woman Flores. If this is accepted his sentence will be 3-5 years and he could be out in less than 2 years. I think that would be insanity.

That was very cool and it reminded me of the movie BIG.

That was the reason I started this thread. I know that teenage pregnancies have always happened and will continue, however I was amazed to hear that Georgia's rate was 22% higher than the national average. Right now I'm listening to the news about a couple having sex in an Atlanta area high school while the rest of the class watched a movie. What are we doing wrong that our teenagers have no more respect for themselves than that?

I hated to see it happen to her too - she had such a sad life.

I like the idea of pampers in the car, or the sound of a crying baby playing on a cd.

Poor Beth.
