Went to a Chili Cookoff in Blue Ridge, does Dallas ever have one?

We went to one years ago when we lived over that way but I don't remember who the music was, but I agree, it was fun. -
Good wishes sent your way.

Is there anybody (besides us) that really cares about the best interest of the American people?? -
I have often thought about when my two grown sons were teens, they are now 32 and almost 36, wondering how we ever survived their teenage years without cell phones. They didn't have video games either. My 15 yr old has had a phone since middle school and he very seldom goes anywhere except school and occasionally a friend's house. You just need to make this decision based on whatever works best for your family.

This should be combined with CapedCrusader's music jam that he wants to get together. -

I would never go up against LPPT or Surepip, but I sure would come and eat some Brunswick Stew and/or barbecue. -
Wow. Your post brought me to tears again. I guess we just have to allow ourselves to feel what we feel - I just didn't think that it would still hurt so much after 12 years. Thank you.

I'm very sorry for you and your family.

Paulding is really lacking in the business and activity on the square department. But then again, I don't know if people want to attract tourism because the traffic would only get worse than it is now. I think a chili cook-off would be great and you could also do a barbecue competition. -
Wishing you the best with this. I have never smoked but my husband does and he keeps saying he's going to quit but I don't think he really wants to yet - too much stress looking for a job. Keep us posted on your progress and maybe you can help others while you are doing it.

I will be praying for her and her family.

He may be miserable at the moment but I'm sure it will be a relief for him and your daughter when he's completely healed.

If your mother has been on your mind a lot lately and the anniversary of her passing is just a couple of days away, especially if you feel close to tears anyway.

And society wonders what is wrong with kids these days..

I think there is probably a lot more going on than parents realize - and it is not always the boys starting it. Parents can teach and talk, and teach and talk - but when you're not with them and they are being tempted and/or they think they are "in love" who do you think they're going to listen to then? If the laws had been as harsh years ago as they are right now, we would certainly have a lot more registered sex offenders on the books. -
I was thinking the same thing the other day. There have to be a lot of musicians in Paulding that would have fun just jamming and if bands are formed out of that - even better. Just finding a place for people to get together and have fun and forget about things for a few hours would be a great thing for the community.

What a show-off. just kidding Sounds wonderful - and too time-consuming for me.

I've heard that melatonin can also help reset your body clock but I've never tried it.

Me too but I haven't ever lost any sleep over it.

Okay, so this started yesterday and is continuing to tonight - we had corned beef and swiss on rye and some of the St. Patrick's Day cookies from Kroger. We're getting an early start on St. Patrick's Day.

The banks are just thumbing their noses at all of us, proving they can do whatever they want.
-
It's a swipe fee so it probably wouldn't matter. The article I read was on abcnews.com. An expert said this scenario is probably unlikely that they would probably start charging the customer an annual fee or a transaction fee or there would probably be fewer free checking accounts.

Some big banks are considering putting a cap of $50 or $100 on debit card transactions. Since the feds new rules are making them limit fees charged to retailers I guess they will try to get their money by making us swipe our debit cards more since a lot of us use our debit cards at the grocery store and most of the time it will be more than $100, definitely more than $50.

We have a little wooded area behind our fenced in backyard and yesterday morning I noticed an opossum up on a tree limb. My husband said it was trying to get to a squirrels nest in the tree. That's the first time I've seen an opossum out there. Sorry about your chicken.
