I thought about that one and wondered how it was. How much time did you spend there?

My son has always been interested in WWII and has a desire to be a fighter pilot. Are there any museums or anything along that line that are within driving/day trip distance? I'm trying to find somewhere to take him that is very inexpensive that he would be interested in this week.

Gogurt - you can freeze that. Carrot sticks with ranch, buy some little slider buns and fill with deli ham or turkey.

Yum, wish I had some bacon. I will probably take some nice sliced bread and put some already nicely sliced cheese in between two slices of the bread and place in a well-buttered heated skillet and brown on both sides until the cheese is melted. I will probably serve this with some crispy potato chips and vlasic pickles. I just don't feel like going to the grocery store.

It becomes a problem when you have a bored teenager that always wants to go somewhere and eats everything as quickly as you bring it home from the store.

That's why I wish I lived somewhere where I could walk everywhere. Of course the price of groceries would probably go up so high that I wouldn't be able to afford them once I walked to the store. With the jobs that people have been forced to settle with at very low wages, they won't be able to afford anything but gas for their vehicles to get to those jobs. Not good.

I think it was a good thing that your mil thought of that, but being a mother I would always discuss something like this with both the mother and father. I know my sons are very involved in the care of their children and have taken their children to the doctor as often as their mothers have. But I would want to know that they both would feel comfortable with me making any decisions involving THEIR kids. I just think it shows respect for both parents.

Just got back from sitting in line and watching people go the wrong way in the parking lot. The parking lot was packed but it still didn't take nearly as long as it has taken in Hiram before. I think a lot of people are having Taco Bell tonight. Welcome to Dallas, Taco Bell.

Have absolutely no idea what we're having but the pineapple cake sounds wonderful.

I think this is the only fast food place that Suzanne Somers would go to according to her books on somersizing. She would get the taco salad and not eat the shell. Her way of eating was low-carb.

I don't know why but that reminded me of the song "I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike".

I don't smoke but my husband does and I know how nervous he can get when we're on the road and he has to stop for a cigarette. Maybe they need a place on school grounds for teachers and workers (not for students) to grab a cigarette to calm their nerves during the day as long as they can get the smell off of them before they go back in to the students.

I will keep you in my prayers.

We didn't go to Florida last year and it looks like we won't get to go this year either. My oldest son and his family left today for a cruise with his in-laws.
