It seems very lonely in pcom town.

My son and I tried a fairly new restaurant at Crossroads and he noticed his favorite pasta dish being spelled with an "h". We thought it was kind of funny that they they wouldn't have the correct spelling. I googled it to see if maybe it was spelled that way originally but it came up both fettucini or fettucine.

You would think an Italian restaurant would have the correct spelling on their menu for: fettucini or fettucine or fettuchini. Which one is correct?

We used to have Nextel phones and I would be walking through the store and all of a sudden hear "hey" - I hated that noise. I got rid of that phone as soon as I could. I don't like talking on the phone anyway and could never understand why he insisted on me having a nextel.

Black coffee, not too strong, not a Starbucks person because it's too strong. The only time I have it flavored is if I stop at Quik Trip, the french vanilla or cupcake flavor is good - but that is just a few times a year. Think I'll have a cup of tea right now.

I used to be able to face my problems head-on and I felt I was a very strong independent person but since I was stricken with fibromaylgia a few years ago, I tend to bury my head in the sand and hope the problems go away or somehow resolve themselves. It would be great if I could just figure out how to be that strong person again. I'm sorry to hear about that and glad that you had your faith to get you through.

I seek guidance from a Higher Power and have no problem praying. My problem is having the faith that I will receive what I ask for or that I even deserve it. I read the book The Secret a few months ago and tried very hard to put positive thoughts and energy out there but just wasn't consistent and therefore wasn't successful at it.

I too have Irish Breakfast tea and ran out of Lady Grey, occasionally I drink organic green or Twinings French Vanilla Chai. My tea and my coffee is always black.

I drink coffee first thing in the morning but I like to have a couple of cups of tea in the afternoon. I like Earl Grey Tea and usually buy Twinings. What is your favorite?

That was great!! I've seen my oldest son remove his children from a restaurant for a few minutes when needed and they eventually got the message. I think one of our biggest problems today is worrying what someone else will think when we try to discipline our children - follow your gut - they are after all our responsibility. It wasn't you that said it, but I didn't even think twice about it when I read it, I thought it was very appropriate.

I do want to say that I find it extremely difficult to watch without my pcom friends to compare notes with while it's on.

I googled it and I guess it was something that happened last year. I don't remember hearing about it before. He was a former Georgia militiaman and was accused of threatening to take over the Monroe County Courthouse and arrest certain people and was apparently heavily armed. Another place I read said he was a "birther".

Thank you all for your prayers. The oxygen came off yesterday and the IV came out today. Mackenzie is able to keep all the colostrum down and tentatively will be going home tomorrow. This will be a good birthday present for her mommy who will be 30 on Monday and big sister Rori will be happy to have her family together.
