Asking for a friend. Anyone know anything about the medical supply company on White Park Drive? PM me if you'd rather do that than put anything in public. TIA

As I mentioned in another thread...

Honest to God, she looks like my wife-in-law (husband's ex). When I saw the picture at first, I thought like someone else said, she looked like Elinor Donahue. But the more I looked at it the more it looks like the hubby's ex. Freakishly like her. -

You're absolutely correct. She did look like her. Wow. -
What about Sam's? It's been quite some time since I was in one, but I remember the beautiful arrangements they had in the Hiram Sam's. I also remember meeting the floral designer from there when my mom was in hospice.

You might call the funeral home they will be sent to. They should be able to tell you who will be able to make a delivery there tomorrow.

Am I Hearing Fireworks?! Can't be, they're illegal aren't they?

Alabama isn't that far. And anyone who travels I-85 when they are going to Destin can stop at Shelton Fireworks or Stateline Fireworks and stock up. I think there's a place just inside Alabama on I-20 that sells fireworks, too. Probably another location for Shelton. Didn't I see fireworks for sale at Kroger before I moved away? -
Ironic that you happened to glance at the clock at that particular time. Maybe he was sending you a message.

Then it would show we have a balance of 2 cents instead of the current one cent. -

When we sold our house in October 2013, we closed our credit union account with Greystone. Every month since that we have received a statement for all three accounts--savings, checking and Money Market--that show a balance of ONE CENT. I have called the credit union to get them to stop sending a statement and have been told that their records show the accounts are closed. I told them that yes, I know the accounts are closed, but we still get a statement showing a one cent balance. I guess next month when I get another statement, I'm going to write across the front of it "refused, ret -

Sounds like they kept customer no- service from the old bank. Not relating to a bank but to an insurance company. I got a collection notice in regard to an insurance policy I no longer had. It was cancelled on May 31, 2013, with a confirmation number being given to me and a refund for the month we had paid for June 2013. To say I was livid about this would be an understatement. But to top your past due notice on a card you hadn't used yet, nope, can't beat that. -
That's funny. That's the one I switched to when Sams got rude toward me and later called me and my doctor's office a liar. I never had a problem with Kroger. But I haven't gotten a prescription filled there since December 2012. I know every store is different but I absolutely love our CVS. I've frequented them a lot this year. Walgreen's is horrible. I hope CVS is in-network for my new insurance company.

I had that problem one time. It was moisture in one of the jacks that caused all of the phones to have static. If you've been having rain lately, you might try using a blow dryer to dry each jack out, especially if they are on a wall that is not strictly interior--such as a jack that is between rooms.

If you hadn't said "drive thru" I would have sworn you were talking about the pharmacy at Sams.

The only auctions I have dealt with were for houses. They require wire transfers.

My mom bought a car back in the 1990s that had been seized in a drug bust. The car did not belong to the person who was arrested. It was his grandmother's if I remember correctly. It served her well until she could no longer drive at which point she sold it to the people across the street from her. It was a 1973 Impala. It was close to 20 years old when she bought it and close to 30 years old when she sold it.

If the government is collecting money from drug dealers and drug cartels, let them get every single penny they can and use it to equip the police departments. Who other than a drug dealer, or their mule, drives from Boston to Miami (or vice versa) with that much cash? And then says it isn't their money? Of course it isn't their money!! It belongs to the drug cartel. I'm sure they will turn it back over to the guy as soon as he provides information about the bank where he cashed the check or where he closed an account. But wait!! He said it wasn't his money. So, as soon as the righ

I know suspicious when I see (or read) suspicious. Over 200 grand in cash and he was going from Miami to Boston after "conducting business" and the money wasn't his? Of course it wasn't.

I'm here to help you. Check is in the mail. I'll respect you in the morning (OK, so that's six words but still scary).

Who knows. Maybe someone was giving them a hand.

Was it an alternative school or adult high school?

Yeah, we really don't need flood insurance except to cover broken pipes, overflowing toilets, overflowing washer or water heater.
