I don't care if the restaurant is run and owned by green polka dotted aliens. It's their right to operate it the way they want to. Two of my clients use them, though not on a regular basis. I believe they both really like using it. Saves having to get the credit card machine, saves on supplies like paper and I believe it's a bit cheaper for the fees. Like someone else said, great for mobile businesses!

And any law enforcement officer worth his (or her) salt will not take into consideration the fact that they got a free Chick Fil A sandwich or a cup of coffee. Just as I don't take into consideration any freebies that I may be given by clients or friendships I may have with my clients when it comes to what I'm legally and ethically bound to do (just ask one of them, he will tell you).
