People really do that???!!! Wow! I always listed them as mother or father on the forms and my husband is listed as spouse. As JMT- in general conversation- I usually do say Mom and Dad... but if I am just talking about Mama, I do say Mama.

I am 45... still call Daddy "Daddy" and call Mama "Mama".... Always have and always will.

What a kind thing to do. AND the fact that it was a pcommer made it even better!! There are lots of good people left in this world. A couple of weeks ago and friend of mine and I were in Carrollton. I left my wallet laying on the counter at a gas station and didn't realize til the next evening. I called them just to see and totally expecting a no... They had it with everything in it. My DL, debit card,other cards and even the small amount of cash. Makes ya feel good about the world doesn't it!!

When I moved out here with Mama, it was about 17- 18 years ago. We decided to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving at dark thirty. We were laughing the entire way to the old Walmart just knowing that NO ONE would be there. Well, we crested the hill on Bus 6 and what did our sleepy eyes see? The parking lot was filled to the STREET!!! We quit laughing and got into shop mode!!! We got a few really great deals that day and my niece got a new bicycle from her Grandma because her Aunt would not take no for an answer. YAY, me!!

I can't ask her, but I'd like to... I moved out here with her and I don't remember it...
