So, the house next door is abandoned. I finally had to call the Marshall's Office to get the WEEDS cut. Now, the guys who cut were just there. They weed eat the back yard because "their mower won't fit in the gate". There are a great amount of weeds at their fence line in the back. I asked them why they don't cut those. Can't even see the stupid fence now... They said the bank pays the $25 per yard and that they only have to go 10 feet from the house. Anybody know if that is true? I'd say the weed part is only about 15 maybe 20 feet from the house. What can I do, beside cutti

Since you tell the parent that "steve" will need money for any extras, I would be a bit miffed. But, what are you to do? I would maybe say that he will need to bring money, flat out. It is hard to be in that situation and I would feel that same but continue to make my child/grandchild happy. and my child always had money when she went with her friends.

I am certainly not bitter. Just realize kids will get away with as much as they are allowed by their parents. I am NOT even close to being a perfect parent but it is a parents responsibility to help and communicate with their child. Also, I do not care how a person dresses or how many tats they have. It's all in the way they act and treat others.

I, for one, LOVE the increased speed limit!! It was so darned hard to do 35 and I have no problem at all keeping it at 45. So very glad the County decided to raise it!!!!!!:yahoo: Trust me, PCSO gives tickets on Dabbs Bridge. That is how I find it so easy to keep with the Speed Limit.....

If my daughter came to me at 16 and asked for any of those piercings- I would have laughed in her face! Then I would handcuff her to her room... I do hope the family finds their daughter. You just can't blame society on the problems you have with your kid. We all make mistakes but sometimes you just gotta whip their arse!!!

Where ever you decide to go... make sure you have "me and Mom" time. A bottle of wine and talk is one of the things I loved to do with Mama. Have a lot of fun and make great memories.

We really enjoy the one in Acworth. The crew is just wonderful! We always get what we order and I have quit checking the bag like I do at evey other place we get drive thru. I do love me some Popeye's, though. Will be trying it within the next couple of weeks!!!!!

If I am correct and I have made a few mistakes.... Lucky64's brother lived in the house. I can't remember his name on here, though. The house was overwhelmed by that Magnolia tree and probably had so much BLECH in it that they had to tear it down. The lot is beautiful now.
