  1. Next time you're at Town Center go across the street (by Toys We Be) and try The Golden Crust Caribbean. Try the jerk chicken patty.
  2. These TSPLOST commercials and even the wording on the ballot are sneaky.
  3. I saw the Trail of Tears signs on the road between Cave Springs and Cedartown (Booger Hollow Road).
  4. 68 degrees in here and I really don't care what it cost. I cut, split and burn firewood in the winter to provide 90% of my heat so it kind of evens out these summer bills. Dang near had to turn on my electric blanket last night.
  5. I want to live where there is two weeks of winter, two weeks of summer, four weeks of spring and 44 weeks of fall.
  6. Just be glad we don't have to shovel snow in this heat.
  7. Yep. They killed my father in law. And I am serious about my comment. Unless the ambulance picks me up and takes me to Mexico Cobb Hospital, I will risk dying to get to St Joe or Emory instead of going to a Wellstar.
  8. I would rather die trying to get to a good hospital than to be treated at a Wellstar.
  9. Yeah? Send him over and let him help cut hay for the next three days and lets see how long it takes him to come outa that monkey suit.
  10. They better hurry their asses up 'cause they don't have but 6 months, 21 days, 19 hours and 55 minutes.
  11. Here's the law and I will wager a week's pay that there is not one person on pcom that can honestly say that they know this law well enough to be arguing about it. I am willing to bet that there is nobody in Paulding County (including all the jack-leg attorneys) that know enough about it to even be discussing it. Of course that has never stopped a pcommer before. In case you are interested, here is the link to the 974 pages of total bullcheeze. My link
  12. Except now there is Valley Fever that is really messing some of them up.
  13. Relative humidity is the measure of water vapor in the air. What happens when the humidity is high, evaporation is slower and sweat will lay on your skin instead of immediately evaporating (turning into vapor). In low relative humidity like in Arizona, as soon as the sweat pops out it is evaporated so you don't get soaked with greasy sweat and it feels cooler. In short, the low humidity enhances our natural cooling system and high humidity kind of clogs it up.
  14. Anyone figured up how much this goof-wad cost us with this stand up routine? Can we do a payroll deduction on him?
  15. Don't know about you, but I'm sure glad we didn't have a sheetrocker putting this deal together.
  16. I agree. We don't have time to waste a vote in protest. This son of a bitch has got to go in November. Four more years and we will be in an unrecoverable tail spin (if we aren't already).
  17. Yeah. Are are are maybe they can just use a team of those unicorns from the farm next door to fly the trucking money in from the money tree farm.
  18. Maybe we can go to Mexico for health care. There is no way there is anyone in those hospitals, they were all in Cobb General last time I went to that ER.
  19. Is this money that the feds are growing on money tree farms?
  20. Nothing says happy birthday America like popping caps in the 'hood.
  21. Sounds like some folks have been working.
  22. If you want an insulation contractor call Rainey Brothers in Powder Springs. They have been around a long time.
  23. Been in the south all my life and have never had anyone try to make me squeal like a pig. And I think I'm better looking than Ned Beatty. Hell, a pig is better looking than Ned Beatty. I don't think I have ever watched the entire movie from start to finish.
