  1. Lifeguard at Vetrans Memorial Park in Cordele, GA. when I was 13.
  2. You can only go up from what you have today.
  3. What we are doing is HIRING a person to represent us in the state legislature. I'm not sure how much business experience you have, but what little I have I can tell you that I WOULD NOT hire Paulette for the job. She might be a nice person and a good friend to you, but she does not have the ability to do this job. I will apologize for my comment, that was a little harsh. She is a fellow human and I respect that. I will be voting for someone other than Paulette.
  4. Football Scholarship.
  5. I think you mean Hiawassee, GA.
  6. Worth wild????? Are you trying to say "worth while"? I see how she could be your hero.
  7. I know where you need to look. Gadsden, Alabama (Lake Neely Henry). They have concerts in downtown where you can sit out on the water in your boat and watch the concert. Great restaurants. Nice community.
  8. Just another Trayvon looking for his George Zimmerman.
  9. This might be a good place to mention SHARKS.
  10. As far as House District 19 goes, I think we have pretty much reached the bottom of the barrel. I prefer having someone represent me that has my level of communication skills are better and someone that hasn't mastered the use of the "word" Ummm. (that was great when looking for dates in college, but for someone to represent my interests at the capitol, not so much)
  11. Really? Bottom line is we can't get any worse than what we have now.
  12. I am a tournament bass fisherman and I spend a lot of days on the water on nearly every lake in Georgia and Alabama as well as a few in South Carolina. The only lakes I have ever seen a gator on was Eufala and a small lake in Central Florida called Walk in the Water. I'm not sure if you are talking about snakes or gators in Allatoona, but there are plenty of snakes there.
  13. Someone stole a car from a member of my family. In less than an hour PCSO had recovered the car and arrested the punk. We have one of the best sheriff departments there is. Good job guys!
  14. You watch too much Tarzan. It's not like when Johnny Weissmuller dove in the river and the crocodiles would run into the water to track him down. If you lived on a lake that had gators you would get used to it. They aren't aggressive creatures most of the time. If you are serious about a lake house and not choosy about where, Lake Eufaula is one of the prettiest lakes I have seen (and it is in Georgia and Alabama). The down side to Wedowee is you have a lake......and that's it. If you want to eat, the choices are very limited. If you want to shop, there are even less choices.
  15. Yeah? How many months a year do yuse guys water ski on those God made lakes?
  16. I used to like the guy. Considered voting for him. But he has got to go. If nothing else, a vote for Obama would be acknowledging that we are good with what we have. I'm sorry but I am not.
  17. He qualified but possibly by saying he lived in a house that he owns, buy doesn't live in (or at least that is my understanding of the situation).
  18. Okay. Let me be more specific. Who are the Galloways backing? Exactly why I wanted to see who that bunch at the Paulding Republican Party is backing.
  19. Just had a thought. Who is the Paulding Republican Party backing in this race?
  20. Isn't this cut and dry? Aren't there quite a few people on here that know where he lives? Is this in or out of the district? Do we really need the secretary of state to make a ruling? And if where he lives is not in the district and the SOS rules that he can run, is this the kind of government we want? If he doesn't live in the district I think the only right thing to do is to man up and get out of the race. PS: And I had planned to vote for him.
  21. Oh, you want some truth? The truth is Obama has to go. He will be remembered as the worst president in our history, narrowly beating out Jimmy Carter for the position. And when he is gone, we will see the economy improve. Not this improvement where we have to check the GNP and a fraction of a percent of unemployment rate; but an improvement where middle class people are buying new vehicles, young people are buying houses and 65 year old folks are retiring without having to look over their shoulder to see how long it will last. Numbers, links and expert opinions don't hold a candle to a
