  1. I certainly do NOT condone drunk driving. But, I've always had a problem with road blocks. Since it's announced all over the place, drunk drivers are the first ones to make plans to stay off the roads, so it seems to me, a waste of tax dollars, and open season for crooks who want to break into homes, rob stores, etc. since they too, know all the cops are gonna be busy sitting on the sides of the road. I believe that "probable cause" should still be the rule of thumb. Drunk drivers are pretty easy to spot, so you nab the ones who are driving all over the road like idiots, rather than having the
  2. What a pain in the ass it is when they literally mess up everyone's schedules that have to be places, especially when I read this part of the story.... "Yandura says the city has seen about three or four fatalities on its roads within the past six months, though none were alcohol-related. Preventing future deaths, he said, is definitely a goal of officers’ enforcement. “None of those were alcohol related, but we do pull a lot of drunks off the street,” he said. “We had an officer last year who was recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and he himself last year wrote up 51 DUIs.”
  3. You know what??? You're like me...U bitch too much about everything. Que Sara, Sara....(yes, I know that's a chick's name and not the proper Espanol, but you get the point!!) Therein lyeth the truth I have bestowed upon thee, so that ye shall find happiness, and wrap yourself up in a blanket of pure joy..... (90%.....always keep that 10% open for whatever may come~~ tip- that 10% is usually comprised of madness and borderline insanity.....which is what makes it so fun!!
  4. I tried as hard to avoid posting on this one here.....I mean DAYY um!!! Question: what is the possible chemical reactions if mixed with vinegar (douche cleanser, basically) would they blow up? It's all just too weird for me...I mean if SANITARY products like this can cause TSS, then why push the envelope??? We're talking about something you DRINK....the idea of suppository intake for alcohol just eludes me.
  5. You can bring it to me if you want. I strip them for parts. 678-315-8794 Glenn
  6. My band, Simply southern, will be at Hiram Station on Nov. 18 (friday nite) and Cinema Tavern on the 25th (friday).
  7. It's just like Smyrna finally got before I moved here...they run down the R/W's and scoop up all the residential...major annexxing.
  8. Trust me on this- you just cut back on your chow and exercise HARD at least 3 times a week. The bad part is that it takes your stomach about 2 weeks to start shrinking, and that part is painful. But once you've endured that part, then you've got it made. If you try to eat a BIG meal, you won't be able to. Your stomach has shrunk and can only hold so much before you're feeling full. I also do other things like laying off the bread quite a bit, eating mostly meat with veggies. I'm not much of a soda drinking anyway, I drink Kool-Aid instead....always have. So, I use a half cup of sugar instead o
  9. I think my band will be at Hiram Satation pretty soon, but I have to find out. I've been bouncing off walls with this new job outa town. (and LOVING it)!
  10. While that certainly pisses me off, I have a big problem with rich butt-heads who like to double park their over-priced, overtly "look at me" fancy cars. I've had a few friends of mine who are well off..I remember a couple of them complaining about how someone keyed their car. I just HAD to ask if they were double parked....both said yes...although it was away from the rest of the cars closer in to the store. Seems some folks still don't care for that, hence they had their "babies" keyed up. Seems to me that folks like that are just ASKING for it though. They have enough sense to be rich, but
  11. My mom and dad NEVER divorced OR separated. Sure there were times when I thought they might kill each other. But they are the kind of folks who are smart enough to know that even the bad things WILL pass. They are the paradigm in my life, although it didn't work out as well for me....3 marraiges to two women. That's one of the beautiful things about staying with my parents during the week (to commute to my job) is seeing all the pictures hanging on the walls, and seeing mom and dad still kiss each other after all these 47 years they have been together. I find it very inspiring...at least for t
  12. Oh cool!!! I know those guys, and they're great folks!
  13. LINK TO STORY Ghost molecules and other dimensions. Kinda reminds me of "Fringe". Most people say the invention of the atomic bomb all but guarantees our destruction of earth, which we all know is certainly possible. This seems to go a little further, IF the fall out could be what some scientists are claiming could be tear a hole in the fabric of space/time, basically. Stories like this excite me more than I would say, scare me. (If this is in the wrong forum, please let me know).
  14. Well....she obviously knew how to turn the computer on, find the site, and post her thread. That's got to account for some kind of mentality, IMO. Of course, I hope you are all wrong, and I am right- that she's funning around, or perhaps intoxicated.
  15. That's exactly what CANDY CORN is for!!!! You know...they stopped manufacturing it years ago...they simply clean and recycle it from the dumpsters after Halloween is over, and the trash cans fill up. (I swear I heard that somewhere!)
  16. I've been known to run out of my medication from time to time. It just makes me silly, is all. I think she's yanking your chain!
  17. Sorry to get off topic, but I watched "The Postman" for the first time in my life, last night. Loved it!! Really LONG movie, but it kept me intrigued. And tossing in cool man, Tom Petty, was a great touch!
  18. You can get the forms and fill them out from places like Staples and Office Depot...then just a matter of having them legalized. Not sure if that's just notarized or a lawyer's blessing.
  19. Y'all was talking about this??? I think she's just funnin' with ya!!! She's always been a hoot, since I've met her.
  20. Luckily no one yet. I aint gots no candy fer em! The 2 nights prior broke my candy account. Besides, I'm studying in my man cave for the new job that starts Wednesday morning....bizzy man tonight and tomorrow! But thank GOD, I have a job now!!!
  21. No, I don't have her number...wish I did. I vaguely remember where she lives, but it's somewhere on Brownsville Road. I wish I could remember, and I would bolt right over there. Last time I saw her was like 4 years ago, so I just can't remember exactly where she is.
  22. I'm moving mine out to the Lockheed Credit Union. I figure 5 blunders in less than two months is enough for me. I can't handle it anymore. I'm just waiting on my life insurance auto draft to clear then I'm gone from the "banks".
  23. I just opted out this year. I can't afford one night of candy, much less THREE nights. I think I'm just gonna give up Halloween for good. It USED to be on the 31st!! BTW, is Christmas still on the 25th of December??? Just asking~~
  24. R U serious????? Aint seen her in a while, but such a nice lady, she is. Hope everything is okay.
