  1. I have been stockpiling 100W bulbs for quite a while....not for home use, but they are essential in the shop. We older people NEED GOOD LIGHTING!!! The gooberment sucks on this one, for sure!!!
  2. Well, everyone's different. I found that if I don't clean as I go, then it mounts up faster than I can keep up with. Sorta like paying bills...late one time, then they kick your arse on late fees.
  3. Good Chilly Morning To Everyone!! Brrrrrrr!!!
  4. I walked over to my neighbors' house and gabbed with them for a short while, and lite to have froze to death!! I didn't expect it to get so cold on the first of this month!! Looks like bon-fire time will be early this year~
  5. Things are starting to slow down at my dad's shop, so I'm trying to rustle up some mowers to work on, tune up, and Winterize. Pick up and delivery is available. Please call me at 678-315-8794. I would like to get as many as I can in the first two days of the coming week, and take them down to my dad's business in Carrollton, in one sweep, if possible. We also fix chainsaws, weed eaters, blowers, generators, and basically anything under 25 HP. Thanks Folks!! Glenn
  6. I hear ya! My wife has apparently already moved in to her apartment well enough. All I know is I came home from playing in Villa Rica and no one is here....they're all over there tonight.....YESS!!!! I unloaded my piano and PA and all that, and I can play till my heart's content!! I'm the kind of guy who fares very well alone, although a boarder is still a must. I just need to find someone who likes to enjoy their weekends, and generally likes to have fun and enjoy life. Small parties are cool, but nothing rowdy, and clean as you go. I'm not a fuddy-duddy, but I stress keeping things clean a
  7. Howdy!! I love those alone evenings, myself. Very peaceful.
  8. Sounds great!!! Y'all can have the Vodka! Things were going rough, but in the past two days or so, things have made a sweet 180!!! I can certainly say things are getting better. I think this music project is the best thing I've put together in my whole music career. That's a tall statement, given I've been doing this since I wore a younger man's clothes......and wouldn't you know it!! By the time I get that "perfect band", I'm all old and stuff!! Better late than never though!
  9. Missed you too, Chicky!!!! Hope you're doing well!
  10. Howdy, stranger!!!! Where ya been these days??
  11. Thank you, Postman. You flatter me too much though. But, thank you for the kind remarks anyway. A lot of people who have not ever met you in person, don't realize what a fine gentleman you are.

  13. I guess it all depends on what this site means to you. To many, it's just another site. To me, it's been a help for many, many years. It's been a place where I have great friends, people who care for other people...people who are a lot smarter than me, and can offer valuable advice. It's also a great place to find friends to just chat with about whatever, especially on nights when I'm bored to death, and just want someone to talk to. Sure, there's plenty of hucksters and trolls too, some who will do everything in their power to try to ruin your day, but I've decided to just blow those off. The

Mr. Dis...did you get my PM? As incredibly kind of you to offer this, my dad decided he wants to keep Buddy for himself. He has tons of property, a 30x40x12' high chain link kennel he used to keep his chickens in. It comes complete with a luxurious dog house with indoor heating on cold nights. Plus, since I do my mower repairs there now, I see him at least 3 times a week.
  15. BTW, folks....if it's small equipment like blowers, chainsaws, and other 2-cycle machines, you are welcome to bring them to my house. I"ll just load them up and take them to the shop in Carroll County. I would like to get as many as I can in one sweep though. I'm heading down there on Thursday to repair a few things, so anytime tomorrow would be great, if you need to drop anything off. Just give me a call, so I'll know you're coming. Thanks! Glenn 678-315-8794
  16. Kindly disregard this comment...I thought this was last week, and I'm already booked tomorrow night. Sorry. But, go down there and enjoy the wine fest, and if you don't already know- the food is AWESOME!!!!
  17. Don't worry about that....it will no doubt come before you know what hit you. Not from me though. I think the site is really cool and informative.
  18. I wish you could have heard her sing! She is very cool, and has great stage presence, very confident, and sings from the heart. Hopefully you will get to hear her soon. She's coming by tonight for a few so we can get a set list together for tomorrow night. I sat up pretty late last night reviewing the videos we shot. I'm totally happy about things, and getting good gigs shouldn't be a problem. We just need a NAME!! I really like this thread! It's been uplifting to hear all the good news everyone has, and good fortunes that are following!
  19. Give me a call at 678-315-8794 if you're mower is sick and needs some TLC. I'll be making rounds today and tomorrow to take to my dad's shop for repairs. I can either pick them up for you, or give you directions if you'd rather drop it off at your convenience. Thanks!
