Rainy was called on to be with God tonight.
subby1 replied to subby1's topic in May they rest in Peace
I just got back home from spending Thanksgiving with my parents, extended family and my two beautiful and loving daughters. It has been a bittersweet day for me, understandably, but it also took on a whole new meaning for me too. It really means a lot and helped me out to log in to pcom and read all the kind words you fine folks have left here. Rainy has been looming on the edge for almost three weeks before she finally passed on. I didn't want to post anything one way or the other since none of us knew what the outcome would be. I do take comfort knowing she was at peace when she finally -
Love ya!! And back at ya!

Forgive me on this late hour, but an incredibly wonderful woman just became part of Heaven tonight. My girlfriend, Lorraine, passed away about 2-3 hours ago. She has moved on to a much better place. Thank you all for your prayers. While she has moved up to a better place, I am reminded that we are all still here to do God's work, in spite of the adversity we all face each day. I will always miss you, "Rainy". Some of you may know that she had a week long "full" recovery (nothing short of a miracle in itself). The recover baffled the dr's and nurse's alike. However, me and Rainy had this fe

It was 4 or 5....maybe 6 months before I could. It's based on how much the employer takes out for the UE insurance per month. I think 5-6 months is the median. I was there for almost 5 months and it wasn't enough.

Not at all, no offense taken. I posted on that thread that some of the younger guys I hired, I wasn't able to over see everything they did and I've had a few items come back, and I made good on them. No problem at all. I appreciate your business, and hope to serve you again in the future....only it will be me personally who handles everything from now on. The only extra help I've ever really needed was a secretary so the phone wouldn't distract me.

Not a problem - exposure is exposure!! At least you helped keeping it from sinking to the bottom of the barrel, so kudo's to YOU!! Hi-Jack away. Yall know me well enough to know I don't mind people jumping in with whatever. Doesn't bother me a bit. I guess the only thing it done besides helping keep my thread upstairs was showing folks that I have dropped out of the news and political arena....something I used to be very active in. IMO, it finally became a joke. All these crooked politicians are only in this game to line their pockets with YOUR money. It's getting worse by the day, and I do N

Dang! Sorry to hear about the pull cord coming off. Those are a PAIN to fix!! (I would have been happy to have fixed it for you though, had you just called me) I'll have to admit, I learned a valuable lesson over the years....I should have done all this all by myself. I have hired some younger guys to teach them the ropes on repairing things like this. It seemed like a good thing to do to help young men learn a trade. Only problem was that when season was WIDE OPEN, I think I put too much trust in them and didn't always have time to stand over their shoulders and watch them. This has come bac

Hey sweety! I think "it's" tearing "me" up!! YES, I am still building computers, even more so with the down season on mowers. I would love to take the stuff. Even if some of the machines are slow compared to today's standards, I can usually get them running fast enough (adding RAM, etc.) for novices who just want basic internet and don't have much money to spend. I was just thinking the other day about just how old my main server computer is- it was custom built for me before I got laid off like SIX or SEVEN years ago. It's a dual core Intel 4 processor, but it still seems to keep up just fin

My thanks to both of you.

I'm not sharp enough to get that one....I never watch the news. I'm just a poor small engine mechanic who stays in his shop all day and most of the night fixing things. Of course, I have to have my MUSIC, but I couldn't care less about the news anymore....and I'm a happier man for it.

I am sorry to hear that. Prayers sent.

Folks, there seems to be a lot of demand for leaf blowers right now. If you have any broken down ones you want to get rid of, please give me a call. I'm trying to get all I can so I can rebuild and sell them cheap. Thanks a bunch!! Also broken down weed eaters and push mowers would be great too!! Glenn 678-315-8794

Need recommendations on mens electric shavers...
subby1 replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No slights to anyone who uses electric, but my dad always told me they were "nasty" and to shave like a man with foam and a razor. I did that, then someone bought me an electric. I used it for about a year, then realized my dad was right. Electrics are great if you are always on the move and don't have time, but there's still nothing like a nice clean, soaped down, foamed up and shaved face. JMO. The ladies like it too!! -
I might have a Lynksys router...at least I know I had one. My aunt and I cleaned the mancave up last night and she boxed up a bunch of stuff. When she gets back I'll see if she boxed it- she most likely did. It needs a power cord, but I may be able to make one up for you, as I have a bag full of transformers. She should be back home around 6:00.

I used to know a really good tuner / repairman. I called my mom after seeing this and she said he had passed away about a year ago. He turned the piano at her church a few years ago.

Happy Birthday to YOU!!!

I see how many local commerce members there are on this site that offer a variety of services. I have met and done business with MANY of them over the years, as they have with me also. I think it's very important for all of us as a local community to support our local businesses. This keeps the money within our county and everyone benefits! I have also made some really good friends in dealing with the locals in my area, and god friends are worth more than any profit you'll ever make, I assure you!

Timely thread! My mom called me today and asked me what I wanted for Christmas (I always say NOTHING). But I did remember thinking last night how I missed my BIG shop vac, so I threw that one out at her. To tell the truth, all I want for Christmas, or any other month from November until February is MORE BUSINESS!!! I almost never shop unless it's for socks and underwear. I am simply married to my work, and the more I can get of that, the happier I am!

This is true- HOT and spicy foods, peppers and such, do wonders for the ill effects of head colds. It may take a few Tums but it still does a great job!

If you need it fixed right, fast, and reasonable, please give me a call. Mobile service, and pick up & delivery available. Glenn 678-315-8794

This is actually a simple and common sense thing....flu and head colds thrive on moisture in the body. Meth is a massive dehydrator and kills off not only flu, but a myriad of other cold ailments, since the bacteria cannot exist in a dehydrated body. Old news, actually. That said, it damned sure aint worth the trade off. It's not just the rotted teeth, that's small taters. The big killer is the havoc such dehydration reeks on the kidneys, urinary tract, etc. which in turn will inhibit your body from flushing toxins like it should. You literally poison your blood while doing meth.
