  3. Mine too, but it came from Ingles.
  4. Yeah, John Schneider. I got to see him at concert at Six Flags.
  5. Randolph Mantooth from Emergency
  6. How could I forget Davy Jones from The Monkee's I liked Johnny Gage too.
  7. "Dirty Dan" from Sha Na Na (My favorite, I really liked his raspy voice) "Potsie" from Happy Days "Joe" from the Hardy Boys There's more, but I can't remember so well. It will come to me later. I am noticing a trend of cute singers.
  8. Believe me, it is not relaxing at all with a strange guy (or woman) a few feet away. You hear the strangest sounds & conversations. It may be the discount services that bring in the ill-mannered clients. I also found some of the students were not as careful about keeping me covered as others were. The students are only there for about 6 months, so by the time i found a good one, they would soon graduate and leave.
  9. I had some family coming from out of time to surprise my son (he was Eddie) but had planned to buy tickets when they arrived. My sis called to check in and she said that she hadn't bought tickets. We checked and found out they were already sold out. Fortunately she caught them before they made the journey from 'bama. I was still happy that they wanted to come. I told them next time to let me in on the secret or at least double check with me about the tickets.
  10. I was so impressed Saturday by your performers. Everyone did an excellent job. Very professional. It was so funny and I loved the audience getting to be a part of the act. Three Sold-Out Performances. You all should be very proud of yourselves. P.S. I would love to see pictures if anyone has any to share. :good:
  11. When they were located on Hwy5 in douglasville, there was an open room with several treatment tables, etc -- not any privacy at all. --- That and some customer service issues i kept having with their owner and her spa packages, so i quit going there. The hassle was not worth the "discounted" student services.
  12. Well, it seems back to normal now. Thanks Pubby and your crew for quickly fixing it. I wasn't sure what was going on. Because of all of that I didn't get to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you found some time to celebrate.
  13. Please, how do I get rid of this annoying thing?!!!!
  14. Just got one of those from FoxFire. Didn't happen in IE. Not sure why it happened.
  15. That's what my daughter told me last night also. No mention of a letter either. No calls or texts from either of my highschooler's. She thought I would get upset when she told me, but I explained that it all sounded like the school took the appropriate steps and all ended well. I am thankful nothing happened. She said there was police and dogs and firetrucks and said she was scared. Son was uber busy last night, so I haven't asked him about it.
  16. So there was another accident. I didn't know about another one.
  17. I have known some pretty good escape artists. Although I never worked specifically with 2-year-old's, just 3 and 4. One, aged 3, slipped past parents standing at a door of a former pizza place in Dallas, and took off down the sidewalk. I caught him at the next cross street. I know how tragic it could have turned out. At a former daycare of my older (well-behaved) children, I saw on more than one occasion, the teachers searching for the rooms for a little one who always snuck away and hid. I helped once, and found the kid hiding in a cabinet. He was about 3 or 4. Escape artist or not,
  18. There seems to be a "lot more of ________" lately. Lot more school accidents, lot more helicopter rescues, more children dying and other things. Is it because of we are more internet news aware or something else. Have this many things always been occurring and we were blissfully unaware until now or they are really happening much more often?
  19. Sir, I left my bicycle right here....
  20. No, I don't think so. I agree the dangers of bullying are far more important and it is recognized as a problem. Add in the cost of hiring trained gun experts. Would you need "hands-on" training. Where would this be stored? Parental opinion? No, keep 'em out.

    RAIN!

Patiently waiting. I have my umbrella.
  22. My son had to wait until age 17 and so will my daughters and only if I think they are ready. 16 is just too young. And I really wish they would put driver's education back into the schools.
  23. Hooray. I added this to my fb message also. Very happy they are safe and sound.
